After my successful Achilles surgery on Friday, I was rushed to the ER on Saturday after suffering a mild heart attack. Over the previous two weeks, I had DVT (deep vein thrombosis), which was caused by my Achilles rupture. This is an extremely common outcome for such injuries.

It was probably that crap poison they are shooting people up with. That is a known cause of those ailments.

DVTs from leg surgery is not uncommon. PEs from DVTs is not uncommon.
Been there, done that. PEs suck.

Everything aside, DVT is a miserable condition to have. Been there, done that, have three scars from infection boils on my leg as a going away present.
