David Robinson is on the biggest mission of his life. After serving two tours in the deserts of Afghanistan, the army vet has no plans to leave the deserts of Arizona until he finds his 24-year-old son, Daniel Robinson.

Apparently carjackings are a problem in the area, and he seems to have been getting a little haywire over a girl.
I don’t think it bodes well for his safe return. I hope I am wrong.
“Going West” podcast just did an epidsode on Daniel. They do a pretty good job of laying out what is known:

Thanks Qiviut.
He’s probably been dead for three months, the info about the car (extra eleven miles, 46 ignition events) was interesting.
Yeah, and those occurred after the airbag(s) deployed.
The carjacking/joyride scenario works best when meth is added to the hypothesis, imho.
Heartbreaking. :(
I wholeheartedly agree. That's some evil violent **** right there. When I'd first started to watch the vid I'd not yet got up for the day, and immediately assumed, very rural, out west, mountains, unexpected cliff, remains are in a deep gulch, no foot traffic. I was surprised, to say the least, what a terrible thing.
Hello everyone, in today's video, I will be discussing the disappearance of Daniel Robinson. Daniel is 24 years old, is 5'8" tall roughly 165lbs, has black hair and brown eyes. He's also missing part of his right arm from his forearm down.
He was last seen on June 23, 2021 leaving a job site in Buckeye Arizona. Robinson’s vehicle was found badly damaged in a ravine several weeks later, according to authorities. Daniel is a Geologist working for the Matrix New World Engineering. The Family hired a private investigator, and did a study of the cars black box.
If you have any information regarding this case, Please call the Buckeye Police at: 623-349-6400
Special Thank You to CO.AG for the background Music " a new life"
Thank you for watching and please be respectful in the comments. Think of how you would want to be treated if this was your family. My thoughts and prayers go out to Daniel and his Family and hoping Daniel can be brought home soon.

I wonder if the interior has been fingerprinted? DNA gathered? No foul play? Until the basic forensic evidence is in hand, it's stupid to come to that conclusion.
Based on the fact that the vehicle as it rolled over and onto its side, didn't make any marks on the terrain obvious to the viewer of the videos, it seems unlikely that footprints of the driver (whomever that was) would have been left on the surface.
If Daniel was disoriented from a series of fender-benders (an attempt to run the vehicle off the road is indicated by that passenger side mark), the final roll down the hillside might have done the job, and he wandered off and probably died of thirst or exposure.
If someone was trying to kill him, his lack of two hands might have made it impossible for him to use his phone to call for help while driving. Doesn't seem possible that this was just a one-vehicle incident. But trying to find the other vehicle with some paint knocked off wouldn't be simple in rural Arizona (I'm guessing).
Prayers the loving father finds his son...
If there had been an earlier start, it sometimes works to look for the wheeling buzzards.
When the story first broke, it sounded as if Daniel had had a crash, become disoriented, and wandered off, but now the carjacking theory sounds plausible, too.
I hope no one hurt him and then dumped his car there. Hoping he simply doesn’t want to be found but will contact his father soon...
If the killers were meth’d up, they probably didn’t remember killing him, or even where they’d got the vehicle.
Then again, this timeline suggests he was behaving differently before he vanished. It mentions the woman, and it sounds as if he might've been feeling lonely and depressed. Then all of his Instagram pictures were deleted (?). Police say no evidence of foul play. Maybe he wanted to walk away from everything. Other human remains were found in the search, but not his. Hope he's alive and OK somewhere.
If the airbag went off, the repeated attempts to restart the engine could have been due to the automatic shutdown of the fuel line (the engine wouldn't start until that reset). Not swre how it gets from there to, 11 extra miles and vehicle rolled over off the road.
I wonder if he made a call after the collision (assuming it was hit and run)? I wonder if he was the one who clipped the other car, or perhaps a building or other fixed object, which marked up his car?
Perhaps someone else already had the vehicle, blew the airbag, couldn't get the car started until the reset, and as it was a stolen vehicle, he or she didn't call for road service, but called for someone else to pick them up.
The possibility that his advances were not wanted made me wonder if family members, friends, or boyfriend of the unknown love interest were behind the disappearance.
Everything you wrote sounds plausible.
The investigator said the crash looked staged. Would towing the vehicle have added mileage to it?
I don’t think it would. And thanks for the kind remark.
