Missing fugitive Brian Laundrie’s mother reportedly canceled Florida camping reservations for two people the day before he returned to his parents’ home without Gabby Petito — and then she made new reservations for three people.
On Aug. 24, Roberta Laundrie made reservations for two at the Fort De Soto Park Campground in St. Petersburg between Sept. 1 and 3, but changed them on Aug. 31 for three people for the weekend of Sept. 6-8, according to documents obtained by Fox News.
Her 23-year-old son — who has been named by police as a “person of interest” in Petito’s death — returned to his parents’ North Port home in Florida on Sept. 1 in her 2012 Ford Transit van.
The Laundries, who listed their Dodge pickup truck on the reservation form, checked in at the site on Sept. 6 and checked out two days later, the network reported, citing other documents it has obtained.

A person who used to work at Civic Plus, a software company that manages the Fort De Soto campground’s reservation system, told Fox News on condition of anonymity that he believed the Laundries may have known their son was coming home Aug. 31 and made the changes to their reservations.
The source told Fox that the information about the changed reservations has been turned over to the feds.

While their reasoning hasn't been made public, their actions indicate that they were aware that Brian had been involved in a crime with regards to Gabby. Considering that Gabby had lived in their home, and was expected to be their daughter-in-law some day, it's a very strange for them to be so uncooperative.
He believed it was reported to dispatch that the male was assaulting the female.
After speaking to Brain and Gabby no one reported the male struck the female.
I guess the only thing I can say is on scene observations often differ than dispatched information. The cops know this, they live this so they do their own evaluation of the situation.
Information that a male was assaulting a female.
They arrive and speak to the parties.
Only the female admits to striking the male.
The witness wasn’t there to speak to the police.
You are placing to much credence on being Dispatched to a scene vs. being on the scene.
Yes, if Brian was arrested right there Gabby might be alive today.
But the cops can’t arrest people based solely on a 911 call.
Given the way this is turning out, even if Brian was arrested that day, I suspect he would have probably murdered Gabby at some point after he was released.
I say this because what kind of mind can murder someone you love and plan on marrying.
Thanks for correction. They didn’t report her missing until the 11th. Got that mixed up.
The parents sent police on a wild goose chase that ate up precious time too...
I’m suspecting ‘white trash’ on the ‘Clinton’ level...
“They didn’t report her missing until the 11th.”
They reported her missing earlier but the official report date is the 11th.
At one point in the video, I’m pretty sure, but I haven’t gone through it all again to check, the policeman asks if anyone can confirm if he actually hit her, as the call originally indicated. And someone said no. Since he denied hitting her, she denied he hit her but admitted she hit him, and he had the scratches and she didn’t have any scratches or bruises, it seems the policeman assumed the caller got it wrong who was hitting who, as sometimes happens in these situations.
“I guess the only thing I can say is on scene observations often differ than dispatched information”
You are totally ignoring that it was reported to them that he had been hitting her but:
1. This was not discussed by the cops on scene
2. Cops on scene said witness saw her hitting him
3. On-scene report states no one saw him hitting her.
Reported this week that investigation of this underway and earlier post here says police chief has taken a leave of absence.
I’ve never understood how you can post to the wrong thread.
I know she assaulted him.
She took the rap…….meaning she took the entire blame.
The reason for the argument.
Her OCD.
She assaulted him.
Gabby blamed herself totally.
The fact that Gabby was murdered must say in your mind that he was completely innocent and didn’t hit her back or start off hitting her first.
Gabby is dead. Brian is hiding.
Tells me Brian is violent.
Wives and girlfriends lie to police about domestic issues.
The cops need to bring them in for questioning. Separate them and do the good cop, bad cop routine. They know something.
I should point out that, as someone who has watched countless episodes of True Crime shows, an abuser, especially with sociopathic tendencies which Brian appears to have, can come of as the innocent party when indeed he's not. And abused people, especially those with anxiety and abandonment issues, such as Gabby, will often lie and say they weren't abused to protect the abuser. So while is may be somewhat understandable that the police assumed Gabby was the abuser in this situation, it is very likely that Brian was. And as I said earlier, the policman may have been biased because of his own personal situation.
Two people = Brian and Gabby
update, Gabby's not coming and I need to talk to you in private
Three people = Brian and the parents
“it seems the policeman assumed the caller got it wrong who was hitting who, as sometimes happens in these situations.”
Their report states that no one reported him hitting her when the dispatcher told them TWICE that it was reported that he was hitting her!
“Person of interest” in the homocide.
Felony fugitive for unauthorized use of a debit/credit card having charges over $1,000 (presumed Gabby’s).
If your bouncing between multiple threads I guess. Personally I’m not smart enough to do that. Lol
“Yes, if Brian was arrested right there Gabby might be alive today.”
Why would they arrest him? He had the cut over his and and scratches. She had no marks. If they had arrested her, she might be alive.
You are ignoring the cut and scratches.
“At one point in the video, I’m pretty sure, but I haven’t gone through it all again to check, the policeman asks if anyone can confirm if he actually hit her, as the call originally indicated.”
In the video the cop states that the witness said she hit him.
Police records show that on Aug. 12, police in Moab, Utah, responded to a report of a domestic dispute between the young couple. In a 911 call placed at the time, a person can be heard telling a police dispatcher that “the gentleman was slapping the girl.”
The call appears to contradict a police report in which an officer states “no one reported that the male struck the female.”

From Laundrie lawyer:
The FBI is at the Laundrie home [again] today to collect some personal items belonging to Brian that will assist the canines in their search for Brian. There is nothing more to this.
Per Josh Benson WFLA:
The FBI appeared to be leaving the Laundrie home. They looked into the back of the white camper in the driveway. FBI went back into the house after looking at the back of the camper.
