There is reasonably solid evidence that ivermectin docks to the spike protein itself to prevent binding to the ACE2 receptor which is the primary pathology causing the tissue damage and clots related to SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, this is also an implication that this ability of ivermectin to disable the binding of the Spike protein including the vaccine-produced spike proteins. This binding of ivermectin to disable the spike protein is also preserved even with the newer spike protein mutations, but its activity against the original Wuhan spike protein,(the one vaccines were designed to produce) is fairly well studied at this point.

Background/Aim: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). One drug that has attracted interest is the antiparasitic compound ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone derived from the bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis. We carried out a docking study to determine if ivermectin might be able to attach to the SARS-CoV-2 spike receptor-binding domain bound with ACE2. Materials and Methods: We used the program AutoDock Vina Extended to perform the docking study. Results: Ivermectin docked in the region of leucine 91 of the spike and histidine 378 of the ACE2 receptor. The binding energy of ivermectin to the spike-ACE2 complex was -18 kcal/mol and binding constant was 5.8 e-08. Conclusion: The ivermectin docking we identified may interfere with the attachment of the spike to the human cell membrane. Clinical trials now underway should determine whether ivermectin is an effective treatment for SARS-Cov2 infection.

Also discussed is the inhibition of the CD147 pathway by Ivermectin which again may block the clumping of platelets due to spike protein either from the virus or possibly the vaccines.
Note: Ivermectin therapy likely will gradually rid the body of spike proteins altogether, something to remember for those who might have residual side effects from mRNA vaccine.

At the beginning of your long post you say 6.0 mg/kg which is wrong I think.
I’ve only heard of 0.6 mg/kg - which is what you posted at the end of your post.
With all of the various sources and information one needs to make sure they look at all the various viewpoints and protocols and then do even more research on what is right for them.
Ivermectin can mess with your liver, and mine already has issues. I take it at the 0.2 mg/kg level 1x a week. They recommend 2x a week (preventative). I might go to 1x every 2 weeks to save my liver, unless I get sick, then would jump on the higher doses.
Plus am taking the other various stuff daily now (D3, C, Zinc, Quercitin, NAC, Melatonin).
I know, typo. 0.6mg/kg, not 6.
FLCCC used to say 0.2mg/kg for preventative and to double or triple that for treatment aka 0.4 - 0.6mg/kg. Treatment course is once daily for five days. Divide pounds by 2.2 to get your weight in kilograms.
Elemental Zinc 50-100mg once a day for 7 days
Vitamin C 1000mg 1 time a day for 7 days
Vitamin D3 10000iu once a day for 7 days or 50000iu once a day for 1-2 days
Azithromycin 500mg 1 time a day for 5 days or
Doxycycline 100mg 2 times a day for 7 days
Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) 200mg 2 times a day for 5-7 days
and/or
Ivermectin 0.4 - 0.5mg/kg/day for 5-7 days
Either or both HCQ and IVM can be used, and if one only, the second agent may be added after about 2 days of treatment if obvious recovery has not yet been observed etc

For those of us who can't afford the online IVM kits and don't have a doctor brave enough to prescribe, it's IVM for horses and Doxycycline for fish. They have Azithromycin for fish too but it's hard to find right now.
