Never know what to think about these videos that purport to show actual data but then use a hokey synthesized voice and have few views. And there’s never any indication of why the uploader has any credibility.
The other probable scenario would be a fast melt from a massive winter pileup followed quickly by monsoon mid-winter rains, like The Great Flood of 1937 on the Ohio -- not the forcing but a monster flood approaching 250 metres, simply putting the dam under water for a week.
I say ‘let them crash’.

There are at least one or two separate clickbait videos every single day with the dam in the title. Internally they drag out some info on water levels and whine it’s going to fail. They have been producing such click bait daily for more than a year I have been keeping up with the flooding of the Yangtze and Yellow rivers
There are people who make a living creating the three gorges dam clickbait
It’s all those Formosan lasers potentially targeting the dam that are the main chicom problem, not a little more rain or a few cracks...

But there is no real evidence the damn will fail. There is a whole Chicken Little dam failure industry payed for by gullible eyeballs hoping China will be wiped out by the catastrophic failure.
The Three Gorges dam haters have been around for years before the dam was even completed. The extraordinary monsoon flooding of the Yangtze and Yellow rivers over the last two years has produced incalcuable damage. The numbers of familiea in trouble is measured in the tens of millions. The flooding results in autos destroyed and floating down the stream....... by the thousands.
