I agree. I don’t know what happen here but I in no way would trust anything from the MSM.
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the dude did something wrong where he left with his fiancee on a trip, returns without her, nobody has heard from her for weeks, and he refuses to talk to the cops. That’s not public emoting — it’s just a bit of commonsense and experience with normal human behaviors.
“Given the public hyperbolic emoting and the communist media guilty verdict, I’d hide my kid too if only to get a fair trial.”
Exactly. They see being “lawyered up” as an admission of guilt when in fact it is a sign that you are an not an idiot. The kid is innocent until proven guilty.
If they helped him run before cops tried to arrest him, bring charges, etc., I don’t see what law they broke.
I have been speculating that perhaps she fell off a steep embankment and he panicked, lost all sense of reality and his mind.
I do not believe he killed her, but failed her.
“...I’d hide my kid too if only to get a fair trial.”
Careful. Voicing your willingness to help your child in this type of trouble will bring out those here that will accuse you of being the worst person in the world, a criminal and a puppy-stomper. Love and blood be damned. Even those that have admitted they weren’t sure how they’d handle it have brought out the village witch-burners and ankle-biters. Take shelter immediately.
Amazing how many statists we have here on FR, eh?
Standing by for them to self-identify.
If mommy and daddy had walked him into the police station on day 1, there would be no media attention, the world wouldn’t hate him or them and he’d have gotten a fair trial.
It’s a lynch mob out there.
This type of thinking could be some of the ugliest precedent set forth on cases like this.
And while Gabby’s loss is one to mourn over, the more you look into her past, it sounds like she was a massively dysfunctional individual who probably was attracted to Laundrie due to his dysfunctionality as well.
