Brian Laundrie’s parents are not likely to face criminal charges in connection with Gabby Petito’s disappearance and suspected death, law-enforcement experts told The Post on Monday, citing the difficulty in building any potential case against them.
Christopher and Roberta Laundrie have kept mum since Petito was reported missing Sept. 11, even barring cops from speaking to their lawyered-up son, who has since vanished himself.
The sensational case took a tragic turn Sunday when a body “consistent” with Petito’s description was found at Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming.

I used Google before posting, and the return was largely, if not exclusively, hype without explanation as to “why her?”
They gave him a 5 day head start. Smells like they're helping him. Better check their bank accounts, credit cards, any recent sign ins to their safety deposit box and see if they've purchased burner phones or used their airline miles to a non-extradition country.
Either way, they're likely despised in the neighborhood and will have to move. The sale price will be very disappointing.
If mommy and daddy had walked him into the police station on day 1, there would be no media attention, the world wouldn’t hate him or them and he’d have gotten a fair trial.

LE said they lost contact with him for 5 days before mommy and daddy reported him missing. It could very well have been longer since the LE wasn’t doing their job. Once again, the parents covered for him giving him however many days head start. That 3 days is a big fat pile of lies.
Simple, the NP police were hanging out at the donut shop not doing their job. The day before the parents reported him missing, the chief of police made a public announcement they had eyes on him and knew exactly where he was. Liar. The cops weren’t able to contact him for 5 days. Who knows if he’d skipped out prior?
The parents knew the cops would soon make a demand to show him, hence the misdirection of him going to the reserve.
Better get the neighbors’ door bell cameras to see when he really skedaddled.
I saw a photo of the parents walking out of their front door when the FBI was beginning to execute the Search Warrant.
I noticed the Mother was holding a cell phone and the Father had nothing but could have had a cell phone in his pocket.
They had nothing else with them as they waited for the search to be over.
So the rest of their electronic devices, Laptops, or Desktop were in the house.
I would bet some decent money that the FBI jumped on their remaining devices and are now plugged in to the Mother and Father’s usage.
Every keyboard strike, and temporary email accounts, bank records, etc.
Now, the perp on the run, he can’t last long. He will realize he is in a prison if he can’t use social media, hang out with friends, live his life.
Mommy and Daddy also have to support him, because their son can’t get a job now, although it doesn’t appear he was ever interested in one before.
The parents need to tap their funds, and somehow get that money to their son. All without being discovered.
This isn’t going to last long.
Brian Laundrie is going to pop up either on his own or be found and he will convince himself he can prove he didn’t kill Gabby, because Laundrie is living in a sort of prison now and will want out soon.
Just my thoughts.

The FBI said the clothing was hers and the body was found just feet from where he van had been parked. One would guess her tattoos were enough to identify the body enough for her family to be told.
Of course, some other petite blonde could have wandered by, put on her clothes and jewelry, ran down to the tattoo parlor to get matching tats and suddenly dropped dead by the van and the real Gabby decided at that moment to go into hiding cutting all ties with her family. Hard to tie Brian and his parents in with that but whatever. Yeah, that’s logical.

I like your thinking... IMHO, when he turns up, he pleads self defense. Says she was slapping him, he pushes back, she falls hits head. He panics completely (cuz he really did murder her). So much time passed he could’t come clean and keeps the lie going...

They obviously need help or they wouldn’t have lost him 5 days before the parents reported him missing. They had one job and they failed.
