There’s just too many negative triggers for this family: he comes home with her car, they won’t answer the desperate texts from her family. They acted in a completely inappropriate manner. That’s my opinion......may be wrong, but with what we’ve been given I can only see them as some very shady people.
They’re saying ‘homicide’ - haven’t escalated to ‘murder’ yet.
It’s nobody’s job to ‘give’ you anything in this case. You aren’t involved.
Wait and see how it all falls out; then register your judgement.
I truly do not understand your 1st paragraph.

But you haven’t been ‘given’ anything that you can really know is true. You’re just exercising conjecture based on stuff you’ve read on the Internet or seen on TV.
That’s not much upon which to hang a conclusion; and at this point, nobody owes you any more anyway.
