The FBI is having a press conference at 6pm eastern with an update on the investigation in Gabby Petito’s disappearance.
I remember a T38 ejection at Offutt and they ejected sliding along the ground.
One pilot ejected while sliding on level ground then going down an embankment the other pilot was shot forward and landed face first.
When Matthew Shepard was arrested and tried for the murder of James Byrd, his father made it point to say he didn’t raise his son that way. He apologized to Byrd’s family and sat with them in court. When Matthew was convicted, Byrd’s family wept with Mathew’s father.
Mr. Shepard turned what could have been an ugly racial incident into a time of community healing and support. They don’t have denounce their son, but they don’t need to aide him either.
Turn him in — in a heartbeat.
Maybe help getting a lawyer, but let him have his day in court.
It is sad. It is likely Gabby’s body.
His parents are hiding him saying he is missing.
Reminds me of Tot Mom’s parents.
It's impossible to answer whether you would cover up a murder to protect your murderous son?
Wow. Just wow.
Turn the little bastard in! There is no familial responsibility to shield an offspring from the consequences of their crimes no matter how serious.
I figured that, based on their map of travels, that Wyoming was the best bet. That or the Florida Everglades, but that’s risky to be traveling with a dead body in the event you are pulled over for a traffic infraction.
It depends on a lot of circumstances....Not everything is cut and dry...
One thing that I don’t understand. They said her phone sent the last text message to her parents from Yosemite National Park in California?
I'll bite. Could you describe the circumstances under which you would cover for your murderous son?
I would drive my child to the police station and insist they tell the truth. No matter the cost.
“What would you do?”
If I believed my son had murdered a girl? I’d turn him over to the cops ASAP.
“I guess which you value most.”
I have no idea what I’d do... I’d be blinded and paralyzed by conflicting emotions. I hope the right thing.
Bet the rent.
Like I said, I would have to actually be in that position...
Hypotheticals are ridiculous in this situation...
No, it isn’t at all difficult. You are morally confused and compromised.
“It will be high drama if Laundrie turns up a suicide.”
Yeah, she committed suicide then covered up her body in a shallow grave 200 yds in the bush./sarc
Exactly...That’s the most honest answer to this ridiculous question...
Yep.... gut was telling me she was up in the Tetons.
