LOL!... it’s more like they are running our governments now.
We’ll have made ourselves extinct by then.
Yes and it is called decomposition, a process which only grows worse with time.
LOL! A possibility the self-loathers refuse to to recognize.
Scientists are amazing—they manage to ignore stuff right in front of their noses while they stare at a computer screen:

Nothing to see here—unless you look!
Exactly, but the aliens probably suffered a similar fate long ago & there is no one left out there. I think that is why we have never found any alien civilization, they fell into the same trap. We are not so unique or special.
It isn’t really all that complicated. Enormous distances that take millions of years to cross, even at the speed of light. Unless/until the fantasy of traveling through “wormholes” or some other means of much-faster-than-light travel are realized, we’re not meeting, seeing, or even detecting any other intelligent life, and they’re not ever going to be aware of us, either.
We’ve got five years, what a surprise
We’ve got five years, stuck on my eyes
We’ve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, that’s all we’ve got

Ben Rich was the second director of Lockheed Skunkwork’s from 1975-1991. He’s been called the Father of Stealth, having overseen the development of the stealth fighter, the F-117A nighthawk. Before his death, Rich made several shocking open statements about the reality of UFOs and extraterrestrials.
“We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects, and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity. Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do it.”
“We now have technology to take ET home. No it won’t take someone’s lifetime to do it. There is an error in the equations. We know what it is. We now have the capability to travel to the stars.”
“There are two types of UFOs — the ones we build and the ones ‘they’ build.”
Thanks LibWhacker. This article (op-ed) is both wildly optimistic and pessimistic at the same time.
