Mystery surrounding the whereabouts of 22-year-old Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito deepened late on Friday, after police in Florida said they were working with the FBI to locate 23-year-old Brian Laundrie, Petito’s fiance who is described as “a person of interest” in her disappearance.
Garrison, the police chief, told ABC: “I can’t speculate as to why he’s not talking, but he has the pieces to the puzzle that we need to find Gabby.”

It costs money for gas and food. Did he make an unusually large cash withdrawal? Did any of his close relatives?
The Italian police use license plate trackers and I imagine the US police have them too.
Pretty blond girls from good families disappearing has always been newsworthy, probably because there's a sense of "This could be my daughter."
Just speculating … but in this particular case the term “suspect” may not apply simply because the police have no evidence of a crime.
Well I guess we’ll see.
Even innocent people go on the run for various reasons.
Few weeks ago that entire area was under 2/4 feet of water. Still higher than normal today ,nice place, gators love it too.

I have to laugh at all the crime shows (fact or fiction) where they track the perps whereabouts using cellphone data.
I am stunned that criminals would use cellphones during and after a crime.
