Brian Laundrie, the tight-lipped boyfriend of missing Long Island native Gabby Petito, is now missing himself, and hasn’t been seen for days.
Laundrie’s lawyer said his client’s whereabouts are unknown, and said the FBI is now looking for both Gabby and Brian, Florida police told The Post.
“His family has reported that they have not seen Brian as of Tuesday,” Josh Taylor, a public information officer for the North Port Police said.

What a surprise.
Why bury her?
There are lots of alligators in FL.
And sharks.
Does the family own a boat in Florida? If the answer is “yes”, then you do the math.
Next CLUE. Any major or cumulative cash withdrawals or transfers to other accounts during this time period?
Any offshore accounts?
Any other family cabins in the family people don’t know about? Condos?
How many cell phones in the family including “burners”?
Short wave old style radios?
As John Belushi might say, “9 years of college didn’t go down the drain!”
I may sound like a racist here and according to the Woke culture I am but I am curious would there be all this media coverage if the young lady was black, latina, asian, or native American?
The girlfriend has an Italian name. If he killed her, the family might ask them to help.
All I know is, God Forbid, thhis was one of my daughters, they young deviant man would be on the run for the rest of his pathetic life and there wouldn’t be a safe place on this planet where he could hide from me.
Only if she were beautiful.
Of course there would be little coverage if she is not white...look at Michele Malkin’s niece who disappeared and was never found.
But a lot of the interest is because they are rich.
Are you related to Nancy Grace? You could take up where she left off in speculation on crime!
Really…now the “Nancy Grace” faction wants anyone who ever loved the potential suspect charged! People need to step back and let LE investigate this.
Love the PS!
Chill out! This isn’t Murder She Wrote! Sorry Dang Yankee program…. This isn’t Ben Matlock! (Southern attorney played by Andy Griffith - a suspected communist, but hey…no bother).
This is best handled by authorities and no need to disparage the families on either side until the investigation is complete.
You nor I know what LE are doing or have found or are pursuing. So calm down Nancy
Maybe he is in custody and they are keeping it silent…?
Pretty sure LE is at least 50 steps ahead of FR posters.
Nope!
How are things in the Phillipines Doc? Is the pandemic bad there?
Lots better places to hide a body around Moab than in Florida. But since this guy has been not proven to be a genius he probably drove cross-country with the body in the van. Which on the heels of their stop along the roadway for an hour and 15 minutes by LEO’s would make them a double dumbass.
He stewed on that and figured he couldn't even do half that time (which is all he would do anyway), so he's flipped and likely contemplating suicide-by-cop.
My husband and I just discussed the same thing and said the same thing. . The only difference is, this is a really weird story, with so many bizarre twists and turns.
DNA evidence of exactly what? We already know she was in the van -- there are videos of them both in it together, and there is no doubt at all that she went of a long road trip with him voluntarily.
I don't think her presence in the van helps us at all.
Try to connect your argument to the facts. The car was actually from Florida, not somewhere out west. So using your analogy bringing the truck back to the same town where you started the trip, and where the truck is normally located at the company, is auto theft. But by your logic coming back to the company and saying you left the truck 2000 miles away is fine.
Although I doubt the story of Ms. Petito will have a good ending, and it is entirely possible her boyfriend did something terrible, at this point nobody without inside information knows whether or not Ms. Petito told her boyfriend to go home with the car and leave her at the campground where they were.
There have been plenty of cases where what seemed to be the most likely perpetrators were not the guilty party. Think about the sad story of JonBenet Ramsey as one example.
