Brian Laundrie, the tight-lipped boyfriend of missing Long Island native Gabby Petito, is now missing himself, and hasn’t been seen for days.

Laundrie’s lawyer said his client’s whereabouts are unknown, and said the FBI is now looking for both Gabby and Brian, Florida police told The Post.

“His family has reported that they have not seen Brian as of Tuesday,” Josh Taylor, a public information officer for the North Port Police said.

The parents are far from wealthy. Very middle class tract home in FL and the dad was even spotted mowing his own lawn this week so no gardeners either. There’s a small camper on a frame in the driveway, a pickup and a cherry looking Mustang convertible also. I doubt they can afford much in the way of an attorney either. That’s why the GP family friend lawyer is representing their son. What a mess they have created.

Yeah, it was stolen, but the police just thought they’d let that slide.

I’ll make sure I keep an eye open for “potential felons” as you stated.

Have a good evening Columbo.

Maybe he’s a Democrat.

I’m pretty sure Nancy Grace became famous during the OJ Simpson trial.

Hadn't seen this before. From Sarasota Herald-Tribune:
Spotify songs may offer clues

Four songs by English artist Matt Berry were added to a
playlist on a Spotify account Petito and Laundrie share on
Aug. 31, the day after Petito’s mother last received a
text from her phone.

Some of the songs are about love.

One song, “Take My Hand,” includes the lyrics, “We’ll
disappear to a pub that’s not too far from here.”

Another song is about a dying badger.

Then there's “Woman.”

“Your woman is your angel, is your left side, is your
whole life,” Berry sings, “easily the most beautiful thing
in the world.”

“She’ll soothe you. She’ll accuse you. She’ll confuse you.
She’ll lose you, but always be the best right friend
you have in the world.”

I just started following this case today, but it’s my understanding the Laundrie family has two homes with their other residence being in New York.

His parents also own a company that sells and services commercial juicing equipment. So I think they are well to do and at least upper middle class.

Michael Jackson sang about a rat named Ben.

Really? I never realized that everyone driving a leased car was doing something they couldn't do. Or that everyone driving a car or truck owned by their employer was doing something they couldn't do. And until I read your post I didn't realize that the police must own their own cars.

Because according to you if they don't own those cars they stole them.

If you drive 2000 miles away in a company vehicle and hide it in your parent's garage, you may be charged with grand theft auto.

Of course there will be DNA evidence in the van. She lived in the van for several months. Her DNA there proves nothing about foul play.

Where it's found in the van may. Also things about the patterns in which it's found may.

Presumably the north port detective who took the missing persons report on sat sept 11 would have primed the fbi to get a cell tower ping log warrant from gabbys cell phone company. That would need a federal judge to sign off no later than sun sept 12. The log imho should have been available to the fbi No later than mon sept 13.

Maybe they could not get a fed judge to sign off on a Sunday which pushes the cell tower log availability to tues sept 14.

Brian disappears on sept 14.

Hmmm...

Wretched bad investigator luck?
