Actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger praised California voters for not recalling Gavin Newsom this week.
Speaking with The Los Angeles Times this week, the former Terminator star, who himself became governor of the Golden State through a recall election in 2003, said California “made the right decision” to stick with Newsom, characterizing Larry Elder as a “wacky” candidate.
“I think voters made the right decision,” Schwarzenegger said. “It’s better to stay with someone who you know what they’re going to do, rather than someone who comes in wacky and is changing everything around.”
Only 36.2 percent of California voters said “Yes” to the recall this past Tuesday as Gavin Newsom retained his job in a landslide with 63.8 percent voting “No.” Schwarzenegger said Republicans would have done a better job running on certain issues that matter to Californians, such as the environment, ignoring the fact that Gavin Newsom has been severely criticized for his wildfire prevention efforts.
“The voters want to protect the environment,” he said. “We have the strictest environmental laws in California, and we have proven to the world that you can have strictest environmental laws and at same time be the most successful economy.”
Despite Schwarzenegger’s assertions, the environment was not the top concern for Californians. According to several exit polls, voters put the coronavirus as their number one issue with the state’s homeless crisis as number two.

According to Arnold, California “needs more fresh sidewalk poop across the state,” which, of course, requires Newsom.
Ahnold has turned.
Shut up, Arnold. You’re the last person we need putting their two cents in. You’re part of the reason we are on this steep, downhill trajectory right now.

Nothing RINO Arnold says shocks me. Dude also did NOTHING as Governor of California to 1) stop illegal aliens coming in, and 2) get more Republicans elected statewide. He is a Democrat at heart just like his ex-wife (whom he cheated on with a maid). The left work daily to replace us with low IQ consistently leftist voters. I watched a video of 7000 illegal aliens waiting at one border spot to be let in, and you can check it out at Whatfinger News in crawler link top of page. And that is on top of the over 120,000 Afghani’s Biden flew here! Has anyone checked Arnold’s immigration papers? I know Nichole Kidman is an anchor baby (both parents here on student visas when they had her). Two Smiths can’t make a Jones baby while visiting the Jones’ home. Citizenship is about blood, not geography.
He wants to prevent my freedom but he smokes giant cigars and drives tanks and flies on private jets.

He had one concern as Governor of CA...what benefits Arnold.
Foreign politicians from Austria, don’t exactly have a great track record.
What a shame that California doesn’t have a viable and formidable conservative candidate for governor or senate.
Plus, it looks like the RATS are going to make it much more difficult to ever launch another recall election.

California faces several crises because of Newsom
He must have a movie coming out because he is talking a lot lately. He is reminding people that he still exists. I was a big fan from the days of Conan, Terminator and Running Man, but I voted McClintock.
Yes. That level of being self centered goes even beyond action as a RINO. This is the real Arnold.
*And to think, many of us used to want the law changed so that foreign born people could run for president in the USA.
*Not officially counting Obama, of course.
