It had been another grueling weekend for doctors and staff battling to save COVID patients at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. People gasping for breath, some dying. Patients’ panic mixed with bewilderment and grief.
Dr. Matthew Trunsky had slogged through plenty of these shifts since the pandemic began last year: rushing from room to room, ordering up drug cocktails, reviewing charts, trying to communicate with patients through a mask and face shield over the din of breathing machines, and having to tell families their loved one was about to die.
But a series of troubling interactions this past weekend triggered something powerful inside Trunsky. Maybe it was the long hours. But mostly, he said, it was the unending thicket of misinformation and conspiracy theories he was hearing from patients who had not been vaccinated, many of them critically ill.
... “We took the oath, we take all comers,” he said. “And I think deep down that’s the reason most of us went into medicine — to take care of patients. And it doesn't really matter who they are and what decisions they make.”
Doctors and nurses may ask a patient why they are unvaccinated, he said, but “you don't want to go in with a chip on your shoulder, ready to say, ‘You're stupid.’”

Sounds awful. Do any of these ‘drug cocktails’ include HCQ? Or any of the other things that have been shown to work?

Well I don’t know the location or conditions in the community that your ‘nurse’ was posting from. This Michael Mathis RN ICU nurse in Richmond Virginia is seeing 80 percent of Covid patients die in his ICU and they are 99 percent unvaccinated. I did say that I expect we will see more vaxx break thrus getting sick and more of them dying...but at least here it isn’t happening in great numbers yet. We haven’t seen vaccination injuries per se or having to treat any syndromes in our ICU that might have been caused by vaccine injury. I’m not saying they aren’t out there but the statistical numbers are still small related to the numbers totally vaxxed so its possible we haven’t seen them yet.
Now I can only report on my own bit of the medical world..but I have put my name out there at least for flaming, scorn or accusations of trolling. I have no reason to lie. I am vaxxed but I don’t recommend it for ‘everybody’...jus high risk patients and health workers like me.
Covid won’t kill everybody nor will the vast amounts of people ever get it or if they do it will hardly be more than a severe cold for them.
Hospitals act like covid sick collectors and the really sick, though few in numbers vs the vast populations, will come to our hospital. I try to help my younger nurse colleagues to keep a perspective that the whole world is not sick with covid and to not become depressed thinking that the whole world is going to end. I tell them about my early days in Nursing when it seemed just about everybody who got it was going to die of HIV+, because no good therapeutics were available at first and many were being taken out by fungal issues, Pneumocystic lung infestions, and AZT marrow burn out and bleeding issues. It seemed like the end of the world then. Gloves, masks, and other ppe issues that we have now were issues then.
10-15 percent of Covid sufferers depending on Richmond area conditions and co-morbidities will get sick enough for hospital treatments and monitoring for a few days. 15 percent of those come to our ICU and then we see 80 percent die. The few we have seen come in who have been vaxxed do rather well.
Now maybe Richmond, Va has some different variation of Covid...we have been seeing younger patients skewing 25 to 55 vs 40 to 70. Most of the ones hitting our ICU have been minorities80% vs caucasians 20% and few orientals and 80 percent of all of the icu covids being super over weight with nultiple co-morbid issues. We had one vax covid breakthru,mild over weight, no co-morbidities...but the patient did well after a couple of nights, got much better and was transferred out...I hear the patient’s home now.
Me...I’m not giving up the fight...to the blazes with Covid and to the blazes with the Fauci/Biden elites!

The doctor has zero experience in treating, just follows one protocol. As stated, patients are dying following that protocol.
They have proven the protocol results in a lot of dead patients. Think you might try something else?
Most likely the course of my disease if I get it. Considering the shortstaffedness of hospitals due to firing of unvaxxed who have natural immunity, it should be safer and more effective.

Myrddin references a study from the UK that was published back in August, iirc, that examined differences between the original wild variant and the India variant, now called Delta. The investigators were limited and clear in their objectives and findings, but that study, and one other were subsequently picked up by a wide range of conspiracy sites that grossly misrepresented the findings, and extrapolated beyond the studies to allege a range of things not found in the originals.
THAT is the common thread in much of this: someone deliberately misrepresents a real paper’s findings, and counts on people not going to the source and having the critical eye to spot the misrepresentations.
Knowing where this is coming from is the first step in understanding.
There is absolutely no evidence of what you say. It is just conjecture. Right now, the un-vaccinated are dying and the percentage dying to that who are un-vaccinated and who have not had Covid are at least 7 times higher than last year. Do the math...

Not sure why we need to look at total deaths from last year if that is what you were posting, Beau. Why do I think not necessary? Because the medical worker is talking about what is currently happening in her opinion based on her anecdotal observations at one facility being too full, too many sick, many dying. None of this is good, but are her perceptions accurate or meant to provide a narrative?
I’d be interested in learning exactly why spike is occurring? Is it because the vaccinated are getting COVID? Is it because Delta is more contagious? Is it testing inflating the numbers/hospital inflating cases and beds like that hospital in NC?
There has been so much nudging by DC powercrats and the CDC that has now moved into clubbing people by threatening their livelihoods; and there has been so much censorship of free speech/thought/dissenting opinion, I simply don’t trust much of what they say or their numbers and stories.

In Israel, like everwhere else, including the United States (see link below), 'the surge' is actually among the vaccinated and according to the whistleblower nurse at the link below, is flat out vaccine harm.
SHe points out there is no test for Delta. There are not chart notes or medical records for Delta. She says the only place 'Delta' is used in official hospital correspondence is in letters to hospital staff, pressuring them to get the 'vaccine'.
But so many of the staff don't want to get the 'vaccine' because they are now treating patients for vaccine harm, who are being falsely identified as Delta surge Covid.

"Delta surge" = People with neurologic, cognitive, cardiac, multiple organ failure etc. as a result of being 'vaccinated.
