In this brave new world of medicine, the doctor-patient relationship is gone

However, there are physicians who still believe in treating patients directly and they’ve got a plan.

Maybe this is what Obamacare 2.0 is all about. It’s a brave new world in which the antiquated doctor-patient relationship is sacrificed in favor of diktats from healthcare bureaucrats. In this new paradigm, doctors no longer practice medicine as scientists. Instead, they are more like automatons, doing as they are ordered to do—including providing care that isn’t care. When I had Covid last fall I was baffled that my doctor didn’t want to see me.

Thankfully, I’m not the only one troubled by doctors’ behavior. A group of doctors is fighting back.

On Steve Bannon’s “War Room Pandemic,” Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Heather Gessling, and Dr. Ryan Cole announced that some 15 physicians met in Puerto Rico recently and organized the Pandemic Health Alliance. Malone will be president. Job one is drafting a manifesto and encouraging doctors to get back to what motivated most of them to go into medicine in the first place: the practice of clinical medicine.

“We are here not to discuss the vaccine,” explained Malone, the original inventor of the mRNA technology. Instead they came together to defend “the freedom of physicians to practice.” Doctors are “being prevented from providing early treatments,” he said, referring to pharmacies blocking certain prescriptions. “We are in a situation where the government has seized control of the medical profession and this is causing death,”

Gessling later in the show explained that the doctors had “incredible success” with early treatment protocols “that have already been tried and have [been] found to work very well.” She said the world is dealing with a “pandemic of censorship” regarding ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. “We are being shut down,” Gessling added. “We cannot even tell people what has worked.”

I hope that physicians can break away from the bureaucracy. I know that some ethical doctors are relocating to other countries to escape it.

Medicare is in charge. They tell insurance what to do as well as MDs. Pharm fits in very well

You go to the doctor and walk out with a prescription
Sales.

Mds are great if you have a trauma or cancer

I go to the md to get a diagnosis. Then I treat. My md gets that, so he’ll guide me. Most dont.

“I go to the md to get a diagnosis. Then I treat.”

I must be misunderstanding. You can’t treat most thing on your own. For instance, you can’t take your tonsils out.

This is a systemic problem, to use a worn out phrase. For a long time, government and its proponents have worked overtime to undermine the traditional trusted relationships: Doctor/patient? They are incompetent or compromised by Big Pharma. Priest/parishioner: They are pedophiles, old-fashioned or corrupted. Parents/children? Your old folks are hopelessly retrograde, incompetent, and patriarchal. Teacher/pupil? Teachers are counter-revolutionary, pedophiles or racist. Scout Leaders/Boy Scouts: Pedophiles or toxically masculine. Neighbor/neighbor: Politically incorrect or prejudiced. When trust and trusted relationships are undermined, then government appears so benevolent and wise. The whole “system” builds up bureaucrats especially. They will attack any relationship which might counter the prevailing bureaucratic wisdom.

Lucky for Africa, they couldn't afford a sweetheart deal with Pfeizer.

They could only afford dirt-cheap HCQ and Ivermectin.

Not entirely. My GP still bucks the management, and has been rewarded with a promotion. Which unfortunatly means I won’t see him anymore as his new position is two hours away.

About ten years ago my HMO doctor asked me if I owned guns. That’s when I no longer trusted my doctor.

I have an acquaintance that is a pediatrician. Started out in a hospital. Private practice in a small group. Back to the hospital. Why?

No overhead. No paychecks. No dealing with insurance companies. Show up for work. Do your job. Get paid.

Eezy Peezy..

With simplicity comes adherence to the administrators that run the place whether they’re MDs or MBAs.

Biggest problem isn’t so much the doctors, it’s the administrative behemoth that has been created with hospital corporations. Easier to follow the program than buck it or write your own, IMHO.

Where’s the profit? Giving someone a $3, ZIVERDO Pack or $10s of thousands on a machine?

“I hope that physicians can break away from the bureaucracy. I know that some ethical doctors are relocating to other countries to escape it.”

I don’t blame them and it’s smart to relocate. In this country (and sadly most other countries follow us), EVERYTHING is top-down. So, for example, if you’re a doctor and you know a diabetic patient can get back to normal blood sugar levels without drugs (or without insulin at least), by going Keto, you BETTER NOT tell him so.

The reason is very simple, and that is the bosses in government who define what a diabetic should eat (a carb-loaded diet designed to make you sicker and sicker) effectively force the doctors to follow their instructions, or else, where ‘or else’ means any combination of the following:

1 - Loss of medical license
2 - Loss of job from medical group
3 - Loss of malpractice insurance
4 - Liability for any negative outcomes
5 - Not being invited to parties

#4 is the biggest driver, with the reason being the opposite: If you do as the government says, and you do get sued (and since everyone gets sicker when it comes to diabetes, there is a chance of being sued), you have a defense of ‘just following orders’, or in this case, meeting the ‘standard of care’.

So do it by the book, and you basically deflect all negative outcomes to the government (which can’t be sued), but go ‘off the book’, and you are on your own when it comes to liability. Government wins, and people suffer and die needlessly.

“About ten years ago my HMO doctor asked me if I owned guns. That’s when I no longer trusted my doctor.”

Florida was trying to outlaw crap like that, and there were people RIGHT HERE defending it, saying it’s First Amendment, or ‘doctor-patient relationship’.

Makes it easy to understand why the Democrats are making minced meat out of our side.

Government may be thinking it wins, but when the people suffer and die needlessly there is gonna be payback ultimately, and then what?

When I had Covid last fall I was baffled that my doctor didn’t want to see me.

A few months ago I took a friend to her doctor's office. They wouldn't let her in because she had respiratory symptoms. They told her to go to the ER because she might have covid. She was diagnosed with COPD years ago and probably had only a bad cold. Why a doctor would send a patient to ER without even seeing them, is beyond me.
Of course she didn't go to ER; that would have made everything worse, and you can catch worse than a cold there.

From the article:

“Gessling later in the show explained that the doctors had “incredible success” with early treatment protocols “that have already been tried and have [been] found to work very well.” She said the world is dealing with a “pandemic of censorship” regarding ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. “We are being shut down,” Gessling added. “We cannot even tell people what has worked.””

It all really boils down to who you trust more: the guy/gal with the medical diploma or the politicians. If your doctor thinks Ivermectin and/or HCQ is right for your age and medical history, why not try it?

—”Mds are great if you have a trauma or cancer”

Sounds like a quote from:
“Confessions Of A Medical Heretic” 1979

“Doctors also have great confidence in
caps, masks, and rubber gloves — none of which deserves any confidence at all. Masks become so
contaminated after just ten minutes that they serve as bacterial cultures rather than shields. “

A friend was a friend of the author and I received a free copy. A fun read.

Yup. No one is talking about Africa at all.

That is because the most common and effective treatments are readily available almost everywhere on the continent because of the threat of malaria and similar diseases.

I just got back from my annual physical. My doctor is a real nice guy and I’ve been going to him for 20 years. I asked him what therapeutics he was prescribing for covid. He said most people that test positive are not very sick so he sends them home and they get over it in a few days. For patients with an underlying condition he is giving an IV infusion of monoclonal antibodies and and oral steroid.

I’m said “so not HCQ or Ivermectin?”. My doctor said no he would never prescribe them because there’s not one study that shows they have any effectiveness. He said people may take it and then say it cured them but they would have recovered anyway. He says they are worthless. So this is how the govt brainwashed these guys.
