I’ve never had a cat that couldn’t sleep just about anywhere (except in the car). They do tend to have their favorite spots for snoozing, though.

I have a 3-legged cat seeks me out when I get home and claims my lap. She first showed up at my barn 14 years ago and pregnant. After she birthed her litter I noticed I hadn’t seen her around the barn for a few days and figured that’s the life of a barn cat.
Then one morning I was in the barn feeding and I heard a loud meow and looked over and there she was standing in the doorway with a compound fracture of her right rear leg. I scooped her up and took he to the vet and he amputated her leg.
She’s never been outside the house since and I figure she knows her dad will always protect her which is why my lap his her preferred domain.

Our two cats, Coco and Charlie seem to think our bed is theirs. We have to shoo them out of the bedroom every night. I wouldn’t mind if they slept with us , but the missus nixed that idea.We spoil them rotten.

Our current kitty showed up from the woods as small as tennis ball. No idea how. This is coyote and owl county. She used the box from day one.
