Happy Sunday All...
It’s a steady lineup of B shows and some highlights such as Suspense...This Is My Best...
How are things going?
Evening.
Where you been?
How's things with you?
Viking, I’m so sorry to hear about the flood of badness! So sorry about your Mom, y’all’s home and all, AND your kitty!
Vision! I hope you’re doing well.
Thanks, Gina. You know how bad my karma is, did you expect anything other? *chuckle*
Damn. Not sure there’s anything I can say. Seems odd your family didn’t involve you. Stay strong and try to keep that sense of humor. Is anything going right?
Hi Gina, early September is dry up here so it’s outdoor project time. Worked too hard this weekend. You?
Sinatra ping!
There’s a deeper backstory to it, which I won’t go into, but that’s it, in a nutshell. Needless to say, the holidays will be spent down here for a long time. Even without the drama involved, it’s pretty much become logistically difficult, if not implossible, to handle things now. I’ll be 60 in another year and change, and my health ain’t what it used to be. My road warrior days are over.
Yeah, I hear that on outdoor projects. The weather finally broke a couple weeks ago, ending the beastly heat, rain, and triple digit heat indices we’ve been pummeled with since June. I was just telling her that I forgot to go check the plants this evening, trying to pick whatever tomatoes and peppers we have left. A few nore weeks and the plants will be spent. Need to do a LOT of hedge trimming. We blew almost two grand on a new riding mower, and I’ve used it exactly twice since we got it. She’s got a DIY landscape crew she’s been paying to come cut the lawn and weedeat. My uncle cashed out like that a few years ago. He was in his 80’s, had health issues, and the doc told him not to go out in the heat, even in he was on his riding mower. He did. They found him dead behind his truck, fallen off the seat in the driveway.
Yes be careful. Last week we were down to the upper 50’s which must be the end of growing season. Am not ready to let go of summer.
Got the yard done this weekend and did burgers on the grill this evening.
