Well, “leaning” may in fact be a wimp, but it isn’t evident from what he wrote in his reply. All he was talking about is not “identifying” himself for his adversaries. Keep them guessing. They see everything as a provocation, though all it is is freedom of expression, which they don’t like when it comes from us. Even the old red baseball cap with Make America Great Again was taken to be a provocation-—did you ever see the interview the idiot Savannah Guthrie gave to Nick Handmann, the kid who wound up winning a multimillion $$ lawsuit against WaPo? and others, IIRC.SHe actually proposed the idea that merely wearing the hat was “a provocation” No, thinking you’re doing something with bumper stickers is just absurd.It’s “our” side’s version of virtue signalling. Fact is , every one of us has our own individual pain threshold-—we WILL act in our own individual ways when that threshold is crossed or penetrated.
