I wonder if they meant COPD. I don’t know what CPD would be except Chicago Police Department???? Well, why not?

Yes it should say “COPD”, another lung condition.

So the Chicago police dept is exempt. That's cool.

In the second link it lists "Chronic pulmonary disease" so that must be the CPD.

COPD is Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

I have no clue of the difference.
