My parents called me today on conference....out of the blue....begging me to get the jab. They are really scared and were trying to scare me into it. My only sibling suddenly passed away last year (not covid). It been a mind bendingly difficult year and a half. I am looking for advice on what to say to them. I was caught off guard and had company over etc. They are my going to let this go. I hate to see them worried and upset. We normally are like minded. I can't believe this conversation is even a thing! FU WU-FLU! 😭

I suggest (re)reading the FR posts on alternative treatments, ‘vaccine’ risks/side effects, the status of Israel, the status of Sweden and have open discussion with your friends before broaching a conversation with your parents. Avoid the temperamental topics which broach the realm of ‘questionable’ debate.
If you present a learned, intelligent, reasoned explanation for why you won’t, you might impress them. You don’t state whether they got the jabs; perhaps you might convince them otherwise.

Just tell them the truth....that you’re an adult who makes decisions for yourself.
And....you appreciate their concern, just as you are equally concerned about those who’ve taken these shots and are now suffering from covid, adverse effects....and, worse.
Did they (your parents) take these shots?
Maybe you could get an antibody test to prove you are immune.
You may or may not be but if it shows you are, then you have something with which to allay their fears.
They both got jabs in March I tried to talk them out of it but couldn’t.
You need to tell them politely but firmly to turn off the television. Tell them they can present scientific facts to you but not propaganda. You get enough misinformation as it is and don't need to have them deliver it from ABCCBSCNNFOXNBCNPRNYTWAPO as well.

Seriously though, don’t give in and don’t lie to your parents. Ask them if they’re not overreacting due to their grief, and suggest they get some counseling. Also, explain to them that now, with tv having a thousand channels, each one tries a lot harder to get people’s attention and that results in lurid fear porn. But people your age, 99 percent of them survive covid.
Get checked for antibodies. Maybe you were already exposed. Then you can tell them you’ve got better resistance than if you’d only been vaxed.
Send them the stats on your age group and death rate.
If you are overweight, say you will start working on that.
If you are not, search for articles on FR on the relationship between obesity, weight, and death rates from ‘the rona.
Send them info on the VAERS database.
Ask them to argue how you have higher chance of dying from the ‘rona than from the vax.
Do you still have ovaries?
There were some articles posted on FR about a Japanese study that showed the spike proteins from the vax love ovaries.
Doesn’t matter if you are done with kids—you don’t want junk in your ovaries.

Tell your parents that taking the vaccination is a personal choice, and that you are currently choosing not to take it. Ask them to respect your wishes in this.
I have come to believe this is one attack on our society, one out of many attacks which are meant to divide us, cause us psychic pain, and ultimately damage or destroy the coherence of this country and degrade our liberty.
I found out several months ago that my employer is going to mandate the vaccine. I have thought about this constantly every day since then, because my time to make a choice is going to arrive soon with the boosters. I took the vaccine, and willingly, partly because of the profession I work in, and partly because it was MY choice to do so.
In mandating it, they have made an enemy of me in this.

My best friend disowned their family because another relative accused them of being pedophiles because they voted for GEOTUS Trump instead of hitlary. The worst part is their family believed the accuser that they were actual pedophiles. They were cut off. To make it worse, since the 2016 election the accuser had a child and now since the plandemic, the accuser wont let any relative meet or visit the baby until they have gotten the jab and changed their political affiliation to demonrat. Needless to say, they have been cutoff and no longer have contact with a family that used to be very tight knit.

Considering that the vaccines don’t keep you from catching COVID and don’t keep you from spreading it, you could tell them you don’t see the point in taking it until they can get a more effective vax. That you don think it’s worth the risk of side effects that you have been hearing about.
