I detest these pols as much as anybody. But it is nonsensical to blame them for a flood. No one predicted this level of rain. And no legislature would have funded the needed infrastructure for a maybe scenario like this.

The one hundred year flood maps are a total joke—dead on arrival almost as soon as they print them.....
Mother Nature does not give a flying &^%$ what homo sapiens puts on flood maps.
I think every Democrat politician in the Northeast should be held accountable for failure to warn, dereliction in preparation and belated, incompetent response. More logic to that than them trying to lay it off on global warming while giving themselves a pass.
I live SouthWest of them, in the Pittsburgh PA metro area. We had flooding. We were warned, I knew for days before hand we would flood in our house. Do Democrat leaders of the NYC area not pay attention to weather forecasts? It was obvious it would cause flooding in various places.
