New York makes the case for Vigilante Justice.
Where’s Charlie Bronson when you need him.

If I ever used a subway I wouldn’t get near the tracks until the train had arrive, stopped and opened the doors.

Oh good God. They have to pull the “anti-Asian” card. I’m just shocked it wasn’t in the headline.
Then again, don’t emphasize it if perp is black.

I’m a bit curious as to why this guy was described as “homeless”. What difference does that make, unless the author is searching for an excuse for the attack.

A horror story. No one should ever have this happen.
And yet, even so... "Two bystanders helped Zhou off the tracks and waited with her until help arrived. She was taken to the hospital and given medication for her pain."

Despite the terrifying and random attack, Zhou said she will continue riding the subway. What's that definition of insanity...?

“The alleged attacker, who is described as homeless, was only given a desk appearance ticket and released shortly after.”
So criminals who violently assault strangers are only given a ‘desk appearance ticket’ and released without spending a minute in jail. Not to say that this is yet another example of a black on Asian crime. And what a brave guy Vladimir Pierre is, picking on women.

These attacks are not random. At least they did not arrest her for being a racist.
To: Hojczyk
Alternate theory of the crime: “Look, I’m homeless ... just what the heck do I have to do to get three squares and a cot? They keep letting me go! Do I actually have to kill someone?”

The alleged attacker, who is described as homeless, was only given a desk appearance ticket and released shortly after.Am I reading this correctly? He has attacked people twice and he is back on the street? Does he have to kill someone before the "criminal justice system" does its job? He came close this time. Close, but no cigar.

I’m sure the guy was on his way to church too.

What’s a “desk appearance ticket”?
To: Hojczyk
Around 30 years ago IIRC, a mentally ill man with a history of violent attacks pushed a woman onto the subway tracks in front of a train; she died.
There was a law passed and named for her that was supposed to protect people from crazy thugs.
