According to the National Poison Data System (NPDS), which collects information from the nation's 55 poison control centers, there was a 245% jump in reported exposure cases from July to August — from 133 to 459.

So, out of 230+ MILLION people, for the whole two month span of July to August, there were only 459 references, from “no issue” to “death,” of the use of “Ivermectin?”

That is a rate of 0.000001390909091.

Hey, the government opens Methadone clinics for those who take Heroin. Maybe the government can open Ivermectin clinics for that portion of the population that stubbornly clings to baseless claims, and insists on submitting themselves to a dangerous, ineffective treatment.

So more cases one month to the next but a microscopic number of cases in the population. These folks are potentially darwin award winners. The media is not helping matters by dismissing Ivermectin as just a live stock deworming drug. They should be educating the public on why an animal dose isn’t fit for a human. As for its efficacy, I haven’t looked at any data. We know remdesivir showed modest potential, monoclonal antibodies perhaps the most effective so far. It’s amazing to me it’s feeling in the media like we’re back where we started and also being told everything is a-ok.
