Since the last time full classrooms congregated, a whole industry of misinformation has exploded online, spreading conspiracy theories on everything from the alleged steal of the presidential election, which Joe Biden won,

They torture our children and deprive them of a chance at a normal childhood and socialization, they limit their immune function with isolation and the kids are depressed, and then it’s time for the MSM to blame citizens for the abuses of the Biden Regime.

Isn’t it amazing that for decades, people could believe what they wanted?

Church of the Flying Spaghetti, Y2K, Maya Apocalypse, etc...

But now it is the teachers’ mission to “deprogram?” and propagandize students to Critical Race theory, PC Gender education, etc. Never mind fact that the students cannot read, write, or do “rithmetic” to grade level...

our country left England and other totalitarian nations to come here and forge a nation where people could think what they want, raise their kids how they wanted- and not have to answer to anyone for it- We fought and died for that right-

parents need to tell these teachers to piss off- Better Yet- pull the kids out and home-school, but really, parents should be able to endue their kids with strong patriotic values that can withstand the nonsense that they will encounter in public schools if they can’t home-school the kids- We kids all endured the idiotic liberal crap that public schools threw at us- and remained strong Christians with Strong coservTIVE beliefs - Thanks to our parents who saw to it that we were grounded in the Bible, and truth-

It’s bad enough that kids are exposed to dangerous untruths across their favorite social media apps like Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. An equally large problem is that, while stuck at home during the pandemic, many students had their days of virtual schooling interrupted by screaming parents, who themselves had fallen deep into the internet’s darkest rabbit holes.

That’s a lot of ASSumptions there.

They know they are “screaming parents”????

They forget just whose kids they are in the first place, and it’s not the school’s.

“Since when do they get to decide values?”

From the moment we turned out kids over to them, since their schools were ‘free’ and it was more important for conservatives to keep up with the Jones’.

Ever notice how “unfounded conspiracies” are always conservative oriented thoughts?
Far left wing beliefs like:
CRT
1619 Project
open borders
La Raza
Gender neutrality
Etc are never mentioned.

Have they ever even wondered or had a second of doubt how it’s possible only their aide is perfect?

“We kids all endured the idiotic liberal crap that public schools threw at us- and remained strong Christians with Strong coservTIVE beliefs - Thanks to our parents who saw to it that we were grounded in the Bible, and truth-” Then where did the current liberal majority come from?

following a roughly 18-month hiatus from normal in-person learning

Sounds like a city thing. Rural schools were back in session last Fall after having ended two months early in the Spring of 2020. Didn't interrupt life much at all. Cities, the governors, mayors and teacher's unions stretched it out to 18 months, not the parents.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
