THIS is the bizarre moment a man throws himself on a car bonnet as viewers question if he was attempting a "cash for crash" scam.
The pedestrian has been mocked for his acting skills after footage caught him weakly rolling over the van as it pulled out from a side street.
Video shows him calmly strolling down the road in Castlederg, Northern Ireland.

Footage shows a man rolling over a bonnet in an apparent scam
But the van appears to startle him as it slowly emerges from a side road - causing the man to put a hand out to stop it.
He then appears to throw himself on the bonnet before he rolls across it twice.
The man can be seen falling softly the ground where he continues to kneel for a few seconds.
He then appears to raise his fist in anger to the bewildered van driver before heaving himself up.
The man has now been ridiculed after the video was posted on the UK Cop Humour Facebook page.
Don’t blank out the SOB’s face, zoom it so people can *see the face* of the scammer up close...
If he was here in the US, he’d probably get a SAG award.
Throw his punk azz is jail where he can roll around.
I was s wearing my bonnet when some jackass jumped on my hood.
A FRiend had a guy on a moped in front of him at a stoplight.
Moped guy rolled back into his car and dramatically threw himself on the hood.
FRiend smiled and pointed at his dashcam.
Moped guy promptly ran away...
They should have beat him to a pulp.
Years ago I was following my wife in a big parking lot when I watched a man and a woman cross the lane between us. The woman suddenly slapped wife’s car with her purse and dropped to the ground screaming. The man immediately ran around in front of wife’s car and yelled at her to stop(wife’s car was not moving), that she just killed his wife. I got out of my truck and walked toward the woman and told her (her on the pavement) that I saw what she did and had just called police. She got up and ran to her partner and said “get out of here,” grabbed his arm and they hot-footed it away somewhere.
This happened years ago in Chicago to a friend of mine who is a priest. The “victim” even bent the radio antenna. Of course, a crowd gathered, including some who claimed to have witnessed the “accident”, but the cops believed the man in the cassock.
lolz
Back to the ramp to Route 99... each with cardboard sign.

Whiplash Hwang, the fall down King of Korea!
A related scam: The scammer family piles into an old car, then drives around until they see someone wanting to make a left turn in front of them.
The scam car’s driver slows, then motions for the guy to make the left turn. The guy makes the left turn, and the scam car runs into him.
Scam car driver: “You turned directly in front of us!”
Other driver: “But you motioned for me to make the turn!”
Scam car driver: “ I was just scratching my nose. I’m gonna sue you for reckless driving. And everybody in my car now has back pain!”
(This is an old gypsy trick, seen in many countries including the United States.)

Which is why I have a “scam cam” attached to the windshield of my car; caught a liberal loonie riding a bicycle going off on me when I blew my horn at him when he started to drift into the road; said he was all calm and it was I who yelled. My cam also records voice.
These are all over the place on youtube. Just search pedestrian scam or insurance. Here’s a nice compilation:

Did he need a jab?
This is why drivers in Russia all have dash cams and why the world has several dozens of dash cam videos of the Chelyabinsk meteor event along with thousands of hair raising Russian car crashes.
