https://www.flgov.com/2021/08/12/governor-ron-desantis-announces-expanded-monoclonal-antibody-access-in-florida-with-new-monoclonal-antibody-centers/

“Monoclonal antibody treatments can be prescribed by health care providers to individuals 12 years of age and older who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and are at high risk for severe illness and hospitalization. The antibodies help the immune system recognize and respond effectively to the virus.

under what parameters?

If I am 30 and I just want to go get the infusion can I get it?

I don’t believe you can.

Yes, you can. We have centers all over Florida. They really don’t turn anyone away.

“Individuals 12 years and older who are high-risk, that have contracted or been exposed to COVID-19, are eligible for this treatment. Treatment is free and vaccination status does not matter. Learn more here.”

That is not what the Florida law and US law says and I really find it hard to believe...and I hope that isn’t the case because we will really run out of it if any Tom Dick or Harry can waltz in and get it without being exposed.

What Florida Law? DeSantis has been opening these centers in almost every county in Florida. Here is the link to the website if you still don’t believe me.

I am not sure why you don’t understand the language used.

He has to follow the EUA by the FDA

It is clear

Call up one of those centers and tell them you are NOT HIGH RISK ***AND*** you have not been exposed to Covid AND you do not expect to be exposed ...and you don’t have COvid and see if you can get the infusion.

Some questions:

What if someone isn’t high risk, but has been exposed?

What if someone isn’t high risk and has tested positive?

What is the definition of “high risk”?

Were non-spike-protein infected sources used?

I’m not sure why you would think anyone that wants this treatment WOULD SAY...

I”M NOT HIGH RISK ***AND*** I have not been exposed to Covid AND I do not expect to be exposed ... and I don’t have COvid, but give the treatment anyway.

Like I said, pretty much anyone that wants it, can get it.

In fact, they were complaining that not enough people were getting this treatment. They were practically begging people to go to these centers.
I’m sorry if that upsets you. I really don’t know why you are so angry about it.

If it’s that important for you to be right, okay you can be right.

I’m sure everyone is completely honest and says all the wrong things, so they can be turned down for treatment.

This is silly, and I’m not arguing about it anymore.

left click on state name in the below link to sort by state and find the nearest location to you in your state (everyone here should do this and know where to go BEFORE you or a love ones needs this therapy):

eligibility:

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3988559/posts

“More people are eligible for monoclonal antibody treatment if they test positive for COVID-19 than those who are eligible right now for an extra COVID-19 vaccine dose. Those who are at least 12 years old and may be eligible for monoclonal antibody treatment because of their individual risk, per the FDA, include:

All people age 65 and older.
People with obesity or those who are overweight (adults with a BMI of more than 25, and children age 12-17 who have a BMI at the 85th percentile or greater).

Pregnant people.

People with chronic kidney or lung disease (including asthma).

Individuals with cardiovascular disease or hypertension.

People with diabetes.

People with sickle cell disease.

Those living with neurodevelopmental disorders.

People who are immunocompromised or taking immunocompromising medication.

Those who have a “medical-related technological dependence” (such as a tracheostomy or gastrostomy).

Other conditions may also place you at higher risk of COVID-19 complications, and make you a candidate for an antibody treatment. If you think this applies to you, ask your doctor and check out the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s page for “People with Certain Medical Conditions.” gettyimages-1234764390

I qualify. How do I access the treatment?

Monoclonal antibodies are administered through IV or by injection (a series of four shots, so they’re not a prescription you can easily pick up at the pharmacy). According to CNN, the infusion process takes about an hour and patients need to wait a while to be observed for side effects. If you’re at risk for severe COVID-19 and you’ve tested positive or think you have it, ask your doctor to where the treatment is available.

If you live in Texas or Florida where there are state-run monoclonal antibody treatment centers, the same eligibility requirements for patients apply. In Florida, this means everyone age 12 and older who is at “high risk for severe illness” can make an appointment and find a monoclonal treatment center at one of the state’s eight locations. In Texas, there are nine antibody infusion centers across the state, but at-risk people need a referral from their doctor.

If you think you qualify for monoclonal antibody treatment but don’t have a health care provider, you can call the Combat COVID Monoclonal Antibodies Call Center at 1-877-332-6585. You can also use this link ( https://protect-public.hhs.gov/pages/therapeutics-distribution ) from the US Department of Health and Human Services antibody therapy finder. “

My understanding was that it wasn’t Tuskegee University students as the subjects/victims, it was area sharecroppers and other “poor folk”. They weren’t told what was ailing them, and weren’t treated for it, only observed and studied until they were incapacitated or died.

“I cant speak to that..all the information I have seen indicates most people cannot get this infusion UNLESS and UNTIL exposed or have to be in a setting where you expect to get exposed. Note the bold “AND”

There are two BIG problems with your assertion.

1. The information is from a government agency that has botched this disease from the very beginning — THE CDC. YoU are free to believe them if you wish — not me!

2. The quote clearly states two criteria:

REGEN-COV may only be used as post-exposure prophylaxis for adults and pediatric individuals (12 years of age and older weighing at least 40 kg) who are:

“at high risk” for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death, “and
not fully vaccinated”

That’s two conditions that must be met according to the article. 10,000,000 Americans have compromised immune systems and the vaccines do not work. Even if they did work, there is still the question of safety that is being suppressed by the “state,” media, and others.

By the way, it sure seemed to work out okay for Joe Rogan. https://bit.ly/3DJp7zj
