I salute every one of those Senators for voting for this.
You’re right. The USA could not fight and win WW II today. We’re totally incapable now.
Of course, what you and most of us know is that the political cost will be a small fraction of the human cost.
As always, the “drafting women instead of me” coward chorus starts as soon as one of these threads begins.
You are right, as soon as the males start calling for women to take their places in combat, civilization is done
Where number so come into play in in primitive societies. Take Afghanistan for instance. The number of military-age males in that country means that they could soak up our firepower and fight on. Same thing the Vietnamese did. The US lacked staying power for 1 simple reason: how many family lines ended when the only son was killed by some Afghan families 5th or 6h son? Same thing happened to the Soviets.
I swear I heard Rush explain all women special forces teams who live together and synchronize would be unbeatable if they were deployed at certain times. I laughed out loud.
Once women were approved to serve in combat, this is the only logical outcome.
An aspect of war that I have never previously considered. Truth.
China has millenniums of history as both conquer and conquered. They are never going to be so foolish as to try and fight us head to head
Instead they will beat us exploiting our societies weakness.
One they have all ready tapped into is our unholy lust for money. Everything from our politicians to our business to our media to our sport teams will do what ever they are told as long as the check they get for doing it is big enough.
The US business/media/political class has become a government of whores who will sell themselves to the highest bidder with utterly no thought at all of future consequences.
However, so long as there is a draft it ought to apply to both M and F. IMO, since the schools have failed us in this regard, it is perhaps the finest way to produce patriots.
Under no circumstances, however, should F's be used as frontline combatants.
A nation with such a mindset cannot endure.

Because no US line was ended by some mythical 6th son in either Vietnam or Afghanistan. US Casualties in both were statistically insignificant in regards to total population.
Our weakness is political. We have a traitor class in the Democrat party who never met a US ally they would not betray or a US enemy they would not suck up to.
From Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia-Iran-Nicaragua-The Kurds, the Shia in Iraq South Africa-Egypt and countless others have been sold out by the DC Political class.
Not even 09-11 broke them of that knee jerk reflex
2 days after 09-11 Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy were racing around talking how they “did not want to give the President a blank check” There were even organized anti war protest by Democrat front groups trying to block the US war effort

Its not a big deal at all.
Its just registering your address.
We don’t have a draft and probably never will again.
If by some weird chace there is a draft, the miitary is smart enough to place women in needed logistics and support roles to free up better fighting men and keep the safety levels of male infantry units high.
Everybody registered for the draft—get a ballot.
