Chase Bank Unveils New “Reputation Risk” Campaign, Targeting Loyal Customers For Their Political Beliefs
Revolver News ^ | September 1, 2021

Over the weekend a stunning image made the rounds online. The photo showed a letter from Chase Bank to Lori Flynn, the wife of Gen. Michael Flynn, informing her that her credit cards were being canceled due to the “reputational risk” she created for the company.

Some on the left initially suggested the letter might be a hoax, before concluding that Chase’s decision was legitimate and something to celebrate.

On Tuesday Chase confirmed that the cancellation was real and aimed at Flynn’s wife, Lori. The company then tried to walk back the cancellation, claiming that it was all “mistake.” If there was any “mistake” in targeting Flynn’s family, it was in misjudging the PR backlash that would ensue from such an egregious display of political persecution.

Chase’s “mistaken” letter to General Flynn’s wife wasn’t the first time an organization has used “reputational risk” as a pretext for political censorship. In fact, weaponizing claims of “reputational risk” has become a favored tactic for the institutional left to deny its enemies the right to organize or even live normal day-to-day lives.

The trick is, move it to WHERE. They're all in on the corporate fascist train, up to doing dirty work against customers while giving aid and comfort to adversarial people and organizations. Guess we'll have to go back to mattresses and mason jars in the back yard to blunt their institutionalized tyranny.

Dropped BOA after they ratted out their customers who were in DC on Jan 6. I switched to Chase CC now plan to drop them. Anyone know of a CC that has not bowed the knee to to woke deep state? I could go USAA but they have gone woke also.

I would look for a local Credit Union. They're able to operate under slightly different rules and at least the ones I'm familiar with are governed by a board of locals. I keep most of my liquid assets in one myself.

Would bet Gen. Flynn belongs to a federal credit union he probably joined while stationed someplace in his younger life.

Like many of us, he likely could no pass up the enticing offers from Chase; like interest free cards, or was hooked through the use of Amazon's rewards card.

That's how they got us. I'm cancelling my zero interest card and probably some other products of theirs that I use now.

Big banks have easier access to cheap money - thanks to their lobbyists. Somehow we have to get away from mega banks, corporations, and government.
