This will be a disaster. As someone who has worked in the field of behavioral medicine, I know that mental diagnosis can be difficult and often takes a team approach. And first responders are going to get this right?? I am very skeptical.

I seem to recall a group of police officers and a medic in Aurora, who are now being charged with manslaughter after forcibly sedating a combative suspect. The suspect then died from the sedative.
This new program will end with a similar result.
