OK, I read the article:
"Other companies are also hard at work on COVID pills to be taken indefinitely while governments and media corporations focus on COVID."
Wow! Pharma is going to be filthy rich! They're in the money! They're in the money!
They really want us to be popping pills and using needles!
I am pretty sure we can agree that the writing of this article is quite abysmal and the original post was probably made without the poster actually reading the article. I think what the article is getting at is a targeted prophylaxis. Following the bulls*t of The Who, they want to make sure the whole world is vaccinated prior to boosters in the so called rich countries.
There is an awful lot of opinion in this particular article masking as fact — I think the line you quoted, while it caught my attention, was written to be inflammatory.

They have WAY bogger p;lans than that. Pfizer is asking some countries for their military bases as collateral for the supply of Pfizer Vaccine pending payment.
