Massachusetts Gov Charlie Baker, a moderate Republican, said in a series of tweets his state is “ready to assist Afghan refugees” who are “seeking safety and peace in America.”
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, another moderate Republican, said in a video posted to Twitter his state has already committed to taking in 180 refugees but is “ready & willing to do even more,” calling it a “moral obligation.”
Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, said he is coordinating with the federal government and has made clear his state is willing to take “thousands more” refugees as some are arriving at Fort Lee, Virginia, to have their visa applications processed.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, said his state is “a state of refuge” and that he is working with nonprofits to ensure the latest influx is “welcome and celebrated,” noting that California already houses a “disproportionate” number of Afghan refugees.
South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, a Republican, when asked by a reporter if he would welcome refugees, replied that they “helped protect Americans” and “now it is our duty to help them. We need to help them.”
Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, a Republican, said in a statement his state “stands ready to welcome refugees from this war torn country,” tweeting that Utahns should “open our homes and hearts” to them.
Guam Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero, a Democrat, said in an MSNBC interview her island territory, which was used to process refugees from the Vietnam War and the Gulf War, will “certainly play a very significant role” in the resettlement process but is awaiting orders from the administration.

What POSSIBLE reason would this pack of morons have to want to bring obvious liabilities (illiterate, no job skills, immediate welfare recipients, possibly terrorists) to their state and burden their constituents? There has to be some kind of payoff into their corrupt filthy pockets.

The Revtew Journal had an article within the last 2 weeks that Sisolak would take refugees. Not sure why Nevada is not on list.
If the refugees from Afghanistan have a brain in their collective heads, they will be hostile to Biden and the Democrat Party.
