"The music icon tested positive for the virus earlier in August despite being fully vaccinated. Looking back, the reason he was able to recover without any serious side effects was because he had the jab, Dickinson said."
"My belief is — and I stress, it's a belief — that this proves that I would have been more sick if I've not taken the vaccine," he said. "I mean, I had both jabs. Everybody I know has had both jabs. And I'm quite happy about it. You know, none of us have started growing extra heads, suddenly wanting sidle up to 5G phones,... So, all of these things, I think it's largely a myth!"
"I think they believe [conspiracy theories] because of their psychological makeup. They have a need to believe in these things," Dickinson continued. "It's the same as people that are going to sit on top of a mountain every year and wait for the world to end. And the world doesn't end, but do they modify their beliefs? Actually, no. It strengthens them."

He should ask Eric Clapton what he thinks about vaccines.

I think he was talking about you when he said: “It’s the same as people that are going to sit on top of a mountain every year and wait for the world to end. And the world doesn’t end, but do they modify their beliefs? Actually, no. It strengthens them.”
The vaccines trials began over a year ago. How many more month do we have to wait for those dire consequences?
that this proves that I would have been more sick if I’ve not taken the vaccine,” he said.
At least he prefaced it by saying it was his belief.
You can’t prove a negative.
I think we picked ‘jab; up from the Brits.. that’s the word they use instead of ‘shot.’ Perhaps ‘shot’ is no longer PC?’
Well, they fail your definition, since they don’t produce immunity.

I’m annoyed every time someone calls the vaccine the “jab”. It’s so childish
**********************************
But calling it a vaccine since day one when it is in fact not a vaccine is just peachy, right?
I have no problem with vaccines and people getting them.
I have every single problem with a government or employer mandating an invasive medical procedure of any kind.
“The vaccines trials began over a year ago. How many more month do we have to wait for those dire consequences?”
How about the standard 3-5 year period for long term safety trials that EVERY medical treatment is supposed to undergo?
I supposed we’re now all “paranoid conspiracy theorists” if we want that.
Long term trials are supposed to be for 5 years before approval.
No one knows what the long term effects will be...no one.
It could be nothing, death, or anywhere in between.
When it usually takes 8-12 years for full approval, you have no problem with 7 months?
That said, I don’t care if you take 20 shots, just don’t make it mandatory for those who oppose it based on cost/benefit or religious reasons.

Strawman argument. No vaccines produce 100% immunity.
Wisdom.
I will put it this way. If you have one foot in the grave as is, long term side effects of this vax are not a concern. Get the vax. If your health is good and expected life span is 10 to 15 more years, it is your call. If life expectancy is over 20 years, you are a bone head if you rush out and volunteer to be a guinea pig lab rat rhesus monkey.
If you had the vax and now evangelize others to get the vax, STFU. You are a huge gaping a-hole who gave up having a position in the discussion. You can not undo your vax, and your constant carping about it is worse than listening to a Radical Vegan, or a Radical PETA member. STFU. Nobody wants to hear it.
“I would get the second and final shot for Shyngrex but the 1st one was crazy awful...”
I got the Shingrix vaccine about a year ago. The side effect I had was feeling a kind of needle prick as the shot was administered. You really gotta wonder about this stuff.

COVID killed over 630,000 Americans. How many more would have died had we spent 5 years testing a vaccine we knew was safe and effective?
The worst are the people who act like they are heroes for getting the vaccine. Also there are people getting tattoos of their covid vaccine.
Do you get tetanus boosters? MMR? All bugs are different, some the antibodies will last a lifetime. Some they won’t.
Repeating the CDC definition won’t boost anyone’s credibility.

Just because they took that long in the past does not establish that as the best practices standard. Part of Trump’s development of the vaccines was streamlining unnecessary bureaucratic processes. But, go ahead and wait five years.
PS, that wasnt directed at you.
The STFU was directed at the vaxholes that post constant fear porn and lord their vax status over everyone claiming to be smarter, better, and generally more likable.
Three points where they are so far off the mark it isn’t even funny.
