Following the Food and Drug Administration's warning advising people not to take the horse dewormer drug ivermectin, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., claimed the agency refused to study the drug as a COVID-19 treatment due to hatred for former President Donald Trump.
At a meeting Friday in Kentucky, Paul reportedly told constituents that the FDA was refusing to research drugs like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug that was touted by Trump while he was in office.
“The hatred for Trump deranged these people so much, they’re unwilling to objectively study it,” Paul said.
“So someone like me that’s in the middle on it, I can’t tell you because they will not study ivermectin. They will not study hydroxychloroquine without the taint of their hatred for Donald Trump.”
Paul reportedly spent a majority of the meeting criticizing mask and vaccine mandates. However, he did advise elderly people to get vaccinated but noted it was a personal choice.
“I think I’m in the middle ground of the vaccines,” Paul said. “CNN invites me on all the time. They have announcers calling me an ‘ass’ on TV. Then they have doctors saying I’m thoroughly anti-vaccine. You heard me, I’m not against the vaccine. I’ve already recommended if you’re at risk to take it. It’s still your choice if it’s a free country.”
Paul’s comments come after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued an official health advisory warning of the consequences if someone ingests ivermectin.
“Clinical effects of ivermectin overdose include gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Overdoses are associated with hypotension and neurologic effects such as decreased consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, seizures, coma, and death,” the statement read.
Paul, who was an ophthalmologist prior to his career in politics, has pushed back against mask mandates and even had heated exchanges with infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci over the matter.
More limited hangout from Rand.
Hatred for Trump. Groundless, meaningless, malevolent hatred for Trump. It is as simple as that, isn’t it?
But what is the source of this hatred? He did nothing to earn it.
Is it solely Satanic in origin?
He interfered with the deep state and corporate grift in China.
He thought borders matter.
He loves America.
Mostly though, it was about China.
That’s why deep state insiders like pelosi would hate him. But why would intellectual lightweights—real nobodies—hate him?
Leftard comedians, actors, professors of ridiculous nonsense, homeless drug addicts...
Why did so many people instantaneously explode into burning hatred before Trump had even done anything?
If Ivermectin (and HCQ) didn’t work why is our murderous “health” establishment trying so damn hard to stamp it out ?
Ivermectin is already prescribed to humans, for a long time now. It is prescribed for intestinal parasites. It’s also used as a cream or lotion to treat head lice, mites and rosacea.
“Why did so many people instantaneously explode into burning hatred before Trump had even done anything?
TOTAL full court brainwashing by media, academia, deep state, culture, corporate money ...
The source of their hatred is themselves. They hate Donald Trump because he made them see that they are in fact bad people who have been doing bad things for a long time. The demo commies are like a serial killer who just realized what he has done and now has to live with the fact he is a terrible and evil person. For years commie democrats have been hidden from view in the swamp and that allowed them lie to themselves and live a delusion that they are doing the right thing, that they are good people. They are not good people and they have been forced to see themselves for who they are and the bad things they have done. For this, they hate Donald Trump and they hate themselves.
I agree. They really are bad people. Evil people with black hearts.
Yeah, they are evil people, but nobody gets charged or prosecuted so for all we know they could think themselves patriots. God knows what they really think: for some there is no bottom to the self-delusion well they have fallen into; and for other it means nothing to them as if they were sociopaths. It means something to us. When was the last time the Democrats got charged in the last 16 years for something? To watch the shenanigans and get upset each night puts you on the road for an ulcer and high blood pressure. Tucker Carlson pushes the rock every day up the hill showing the corruption and incompetence but nothing is done. It’s like a curse... the myth of Sisyphus. Talk just leads to more talk until the ulcer and blood pressure do a number on you. Every night you get a beating reading the news that just leads to more beatings. At least you can stop reading the miserable news and take a break. I think in the end, these people will never see reality. We live in divided times with different views of the truth. Nothing will probably change until one side is just too fed up and there is violence.
I’ d say so.
Ivermectin is available by prescription at Walgreens via Goodrx for $34.00; 20 tabs @ 3mg each.
He beat Hillary.
Love of money (power/comtrol)
That’s simply not enough for either prophylaxis or treatment. I’m taking 36mg per week total, my wife takes 30mg per week (half Monday/half Thursday). If you get sick, that 20x3mg is enough for maybe two days treatment if you weigh 150 pounds. People need to stockpile more than that or it won’t work. Doctors are simply not following the proper protocol with their scripts.
Wow! This guys brilliant! And to think that he figrd that out all on his own. Amazing!
Re: 16 - Where are you deriving your recommended dosages?
President Trump dared stand in the way of their progress where the USA is sold by them to a one-world government and our sovereignty becomes nonexistent and our God is withdrawn.
