Marc Bernier, a talk radio host in Daytona Beach for 30 years, died after a three-week battle with COVID-19, WNDB and Southern Stone Communications announced on Twitter Saturday night.
Bernier, 65, of Ormond Beach, has been remembered in recent days as a conservative who sought out and aired others' points of view while airing a morning comment, three-hour afternoon show, weekend shows and specials, such as remote town halls and political debates. He interviewed countless governors, senators, mayors, sheriffs, journalists, historians and authors.
He also was an outspoken opponent of vaccinations.

What we dont see reported is how many have died who actually got the antibody infusion.

He went off the air about 25 (?) days ago. He was a Desantis fan, may have praised MABs, but I think it may have been not presented to him as an option. Same with IVM, likely.
We just had a MAB clinic open up a few blocks from me (and formerly, Marc). Timing may have been bad by 2 weeks, not sure.
I am a bit concerned about being able to get the infusion within the time frame because of lack of appointments as this continues to explode.
I have come up with two alternatives.
There is a shot that you can get at some pharmacies. ELi Lilly is the one who actually gave me the name of the pharmacy to contact for the Regeneron shot ( after they read multiple disclaimers to me)
And one of the emergency rooms has verified they are doing the infusion. Since I have met my deductible that is probably what I would do if I get it in 2021.
And btw, I dont think you can get the Regeneron shot at some place like CVS or Walgreens. The pharmacy I was directed to is some kind of specialized compounding pharmacy that also does health appointments
He was in a medical coma and on a vent since August 8.

You can’t intubate a conscious patient.
Also, when they are going to be placed on a vent, their breathing needs to be very slow or stopped all together as the machine will force O2 into them.
I had to crash a patient with Morphine in order to intubate them.
In the field otherwise I would have used another drug.
The Morphine also knocked out their breathing so they’re were totally relaxed and relying on me breathing for them with a BVM and 100% O2.
It’s articles like this written by people that don’t have knowledge and understanding and then repeated by people that don’t have knowledge or understanding that chips away at the poster’s credibility.

The Midolazam was not discussed in the setting of initiating intubation - it was being prescribed after and upon discharge.
Are you suggesting that it is fine for Midolazam to be be used after initial intubation and after discharge for covid patients? What would be the rational for that?
Once again, why resort to ad hominem attacks if you have facts that back up your claim? Last time I mentioned that to you, you said you really didn’t care what other people thought or did, but obviously it concerns you a great deal if you have to attack others this way.

Hmmm... meanwhile, I, my wife and son all had 2-week long bouts with Covid, kept working the whole time, and got better without any hospitalization at all (well, Donna was at the local hospital to get here MAB infusion -- total time two hours).
Funny how all the folks just like us don't get one drop of ink. You'd think there was an agenda at work or something.
