A brave mother fought off a mountain lion — with her bare hands — as it savagely attacked her 5-year-old son outside their California home last week, authorities said Saturday.
The unnamed woman punched the 65-pound wild animal and wrestled it away from her child in the front yard of the family’s house in Calabasas on Thursday, authorities said.
The mountain lion had dragged the child “about 45 yards” across the front lawn in the wild attack, said Capt. Patrick Foy, a spokesman with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

California banned the hunting of mountain lions 30 years ago, in 1990.
They were told mountain lions never attacked people, unless they were rabid. It was a lie.
As far as I’m concerned mountain lions should attack rabid people.
We can’t lay a hand on coyotes or bears either. “Co-exist” they tell us.

Move out all humans, demolish all buildings.

I fought off a cougar once. That’s what happens when you buy them one too many drinks. Oh wait...
Sadly enough, these days the cougars are so young...
