I was in a group of 6 people last Tuesday. Two of those people are running slight fevers and tested positive yesterday for the China crud.
I’m wondering what any of you would do prophylactically at this point. DH and I have been taking D3 for about a month. I have zinc on hand. Queceterin/C is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. We were able to get a small stash of ivermectin.
Neither DH nor I are running a fever and we are feeling ok. Don’t want to be tested.
You all have flooded me with information (which is greatly appreciated), but now I’m not sure that I remember what to do first.
I tried to ping anyone who has offered up personal experience or posted some awesome info (lookin’ at you, ransomnote). Sorry if I missed anyone or included someone by mistake. Please jump in with whatever suggestions you have.
FReepMail may be required so we don’t clog up the thread.
ThanQs in advance.

I would mimic these protocols, based on what I have on hand,
for starters Vitamin D3, quercetin, Zn++. Vit C.
The key right now, IMO, is to monitor yourself carefully and the moment you detect a fever - ACT! Not that your preventions are unimportant, but they may be too late. If you have a family physician (which you should!) you should call them right away and inform them of your exposure, ask their advice. They might choose to prescribe Ivermectin (human Rx form) or hydroxychloroquin immediately - or monoclonal antibodies: Regeneron.
Your OTC protocols are good. For zinc I buy Zicam, a sublingual form which is quickly absorbed; the directions on the box will advise how often to take it safely. Zinc is an immediate deterrent to the CoViD virus, the cold virus, perhaps any virus. Keep us informed. God bless! IR
I’ve been preparing this list to give my kids if I ever get it and start goin’ down...
DEMAND:
Regeneron Monoclonal antibodies
clarithromycin
vitamin c intravenous
zinc
vitamin D
quercitin
ivermectin
no ventilator
low pressure oxygen
please add to it as you think of it..
Horse paste, baby.
Seriously, hit the tack store and get the ivermectin paste. It’s inexpensive and works.
If you don’t want to be tested, seeing a doctor is not a good idea because he/she will insist. If you’ve been taking sufficient D3, you may already be protected from catching it yourself.
If it were me, I’d start the ivermectin right away - day 1, day 3 and day 8. If you’re very concerned about exposure, take your regular weight-based ivermectin once a day for 5 days. Note that for high risk patients, Dr. Zelenko recommends doubling the ivermectin dose for 5 days.
Dr. Zelenko suggests the following treatment options once you’ve truly caught it, according to whatever risk level you think you are:
Low risk patients
• Supportive care with fluids, fever control, and rest
• Elemental Zinc 50mg 1 time a day for 7 days
• Vitamin C 1000mg 1 time a day for 7 days
• Vitamin D3 5000iu 1 time a day for 7 days
Optional over the counter options
• Quercetin 500mg 2 times a day for 7 days or
• Epigallocatechin-gallate (EGCG) 400mg 1 time a day for 7 days
Moderate / High risk patients
• Elemental Zinc 50-100mg once a day for 7 days
• Vitamin C 1000mg 1 time a day for 7 days
• Vitamin D3 10000iu once a day for 7 days or 50000iu once a day for 1-2 days
• Azithromycin 500mg 1 time a day for 5 days or
• Doxycycline 100mg 2 times a day for 7 days
• Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) 200mg 2 times a day for 5-7 days and/or
• Ivermectin 0.4-0.5mg/kg/day for 5-7 days. Either or both HCQ and IVM can be used, and if one only, the second agent may be added after about 2 days of treatment if obvious recovery has not yet been observed.
I’m with you, John4.11.
I feel like crud the last 2 days and feel somewhat hot and slight sore throat and etc. Been taking D3 (doc orders because cancer 2 yrs ago), would very much like to know how to take 12 mg tabs Ivermectin. I copied pages of info and have no clue about the 12 mg tabs either as prophylactic or treatment. Sorry for dumbness.
I would immediately take one human sized dose of ivermectin paste,
IF you feel any cold/flu symptoms. (call that dose Day One)
Repeat on Day Three, if you have any cold/flu symptoms.
Repeat on Day Ten if you have symptoms.
(Dr.Zelenco Protocol)
I only needed the Day One dose, when I used ivermectin to halt progression of cold/flu.
Important to take at first suspicion that you have the beginning of a cold/flu.
Have used this protocol 3 times this year, with 100% success.
I used a dial-a-dose type horse paste brand, with markers every 50 pounds, dialed to 150, pushed the plunger, landing the paste in peach jam on toast. Never even tasted the paste.
(I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV)
Praying for your health, my friend.
I'd take a look upthread at the protocol used by the Romanian doctor (1,000+ patients, no fatalities).
But then I have a soft spot for Romania. My maternal grandmother was born there, in Transylvania. I've actually visited Dracula's castle. Perhaps that explains why I've been thinking of getting an inversion table, so I can hang upside down.
If I were certain I had it I would take a daily dose of the Ivermectin for the recommended 5-7 days if you have enough or wait until you have a low fever anyway. I’m still learning about the ivermectin though.
My sister that just had it works two jobs. Her morning job is for a grocery store. She is over keeping the supplements stocked. She said she runs out of zinc every two days so I would stock up on that. Apparently people are finding out to take it.
Her second job is home delivery for a compounding pharmacy. I’m glad she has had it and has antibodies since she comes into close contact with sick people.
She said the zinc is getting almost impossible to keep stocked.
