If you don’t want to be tested, seeing a doctor is not a good idea because he/she will insist. If you’ve been taking sufficient D3, you may already be protected from catching it yourself.
If it were me, I’d start the ivermectin right away - day 1, day 3 and day 8. If you’re very concerned about exposure, take your regular weight-based ivermectin once a day for 5 days. Note that for high risk patients, Dr. Zelenko recommends doubling the ivermectin dose for 5 days.
Dr. Zelenko suggests the following treatment options once you’ve truly caught it, according to whatever risk level you think you are:
Low risk patients
• Supportive care with fluids, fever control, and rest
• Elemental Zinc 50mg 1 time a day for 7 days
• Vitamin C 1000mg 1 time a day for 7 days
• Vitamin D3 5000iu 1 time a day for 7 days
Optional over the counter options
• Quercetin 500mg 2 times a day for 7 days or
• Epigallocatechin-gallate (EGCG) 400mg 1 time a day for 7 days
Moderate / High risk patients
• Elemental Zinc 50-100mg once a day for 7 days
• Vitamin C 1000mg 1 time a day for 7 days
• Vitamin D3 10000iu once a day for 7 days or 50000iu once a day for 1-2 days
• Azithromycin 500mg 1 time a day for 5 days or
• Doxycycline 100mg 2 times a day for 7 days
• Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) 200mg 2 times a day for 5-7 days and/or
• Ivermectin 0.4-0.5mg/kg/day for 5-7 days. Either or both HCQ and IVM can be used, and if one only, the second agent may be added after about 2 days of treatment if obvious recovery has not yet been observed.
Thanks for posting all this. Because I am feeling very drain bamagaed tonight (and plan to continue tomorrow), any ideas on how to translate this:
“Ivermectin 0.4-0.5mg/kg/day”
into 12 mg. tablets? Since tablets don’t worry about how many kg?
ThanQ, LL. You all are the best. I’m still feeling ok so I think I’m safe. Hubby has emphysema so I want to keep his immune system as strong as I can. We both seem fine. I think I would know by now if I was getting sick. Don’t you? It was a week yesterday. I’m still almost positive hubby, my mom, and I all had this bioweapon in Jan/Feb of 2020 when it was still called the flu. ;D
