Do you remember at the beginning of the crisis, there was a brave nurse who put a video out describing what she was seeing? The utter carelessness of medical staff, in not protecting lives?

She told of one patient who was holding his own and she told the nurse taking the next shift he didn’t need a ventilator.

Of course, as soon as her shift was over they put him on a ventilator and he died very shortly after. The nurse was in tears, saying this should never have happened.

If this is the same story I remember, the nurse was a military vet from Florida, and the man who died was pretty young, like maybe EARLY 30s.

On Sunday — three days after explosions wreaked havoc outside of Afghanistan’s Hamid Karzai International Airport — President Joe Biden flew to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to receive the flag-draped remains of the 13 U.S. service members killed in the attack.

Before receiving these heroes who had returned home at last, Biden decided to meet with their families.

In at least one aspect, though, it blew up in his face, when most members of a Gold Star family walked out on him before they could even exchange a word.

The development was buried deep in an article in The Washington Post that bore a headline that would never let a cursory reader know the presidential embarrassment had even happened: “Biden meets with families of service members killed in Kabul as U.S. races to exit Afghanistan.”

The article pressed the urgency of the swiftly approaching Aug. 31 withdrawal deadline and labeled Biden’s Afghanistan pullout a “tragedy,” rounded off with “tumult and growing anger with his stewardship.”

Though we should all be outraged by what this withdrawal has become, by what we’re seeing, not many — if anyone at all — has as much right to be outraged as the families who grieve for their lost loved ones, their (and our) fallen heroes.

Jiennah McCollum, the expectant wife of 20-year-old Marine Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum, who died in Thursday’s suicide bombing in Kabul, awaited the “dignified transfer of remains” with two of her sisters-in-law and her father-in-law, Rylee’s sister Roice told the Post.

Jiennah, according to the Post, is expected to deliver her child next month. She was the only one in the family who met the president.

The rest, according to the Post, left the room when it was time to meet Biden — taking the dramatic action because “they did not want to speak with the man they held responsible for McCollum’s death.”

The Marine’s mother, Kathy McCollum, has already made headlines voicing her fury with Biden.

Roice told the Post that Jiennah left the room disappointed after speaking with Biden.

Biden shared the story of his son Beau with her, recapturing his military service and his succumbing to cancer, Roice said.

The Post reported that the McCollums found Biden’s words “scripted and shallow, a conversation that lasted only a couple of minutes in ‘total disregard to the loss of our Marine,’” in Roice’s words.

“You can’t f— up as bad as he did and say you’re sorry,” Roice told the Post.

“This did not need to happen, and every life is on his hands.”

The same Post article described the emotions of Gold Star mother Paula Knauss, who shared the reactions she felt while watching the remains of her son, Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss, being received at the service on television.

There was understandable pride in her son, of course. And heartbreak at his loss.

But there was also, as the Post delicately paraphrased it, “disappointment over what Knauss deemed a lack of leadership and protection for the service members in Afghanistan.”

“You can’t have a hasty withdrawal after 20 years of war,” Knauss said, according to the Post.

“Because it’s beyond me. It disgraces the name of all those who have fought in the past and who are now on ground, foreign ground. fighting right now. My son’s [82nd] Airborne is still there, and they deserve to be protected.”

Despite the blame for an inept withdrawal mounting on his shoulders, Biden has notoriously deflected responsibility onto everyone else — such as the Afghan security forces — while maintaining his decision was was correct.

We grieve for (and with) these families, knowing America has lost 13 of its most valiant and selfless.

They fulfilled their duty to the end of the line — and no incompetent leadership can take that from them.

I just talked to my baby sister. She had COVID about a month ago. I asked how sick she got and she said barely at all. She had a headache all day one day and when she started eating her bacon the next morning she couldn’t taste it. She tested positive. She said they didn’t give her any meds but they did offer to give her the antibody infusion. She doesn’t have insurance so she just toughed it out. She is 59. The third day her eyes were gritty and red and she felt like she had a sinus infection. After the third day she felt fine. I guess TN doesn’t strictly stick to the “antibody infusion rules”. She’s the second person I know under 60 that was either offered or got the infusion.

Both of my brothers and both sisters-in-law had it without any issues. My baby sister said her boss and the truck driver that got it when she did had it worse. Her boss is about 400 pounds and ended up with pneumonia but they gave him the antibodies and he recovered fine. The truck driver that died was skinny as a rail but was a chain smoker.

As far as I know neither myself or my sister two years younger than me have had it.

I think they are planning a false flag event at a September 11, 2021 gathering at the Capitol to frame MAGA and honorable Military for brutish actions. Probably others as well, but look how much mileage they got out of the January 6 farce - Biden is still holding protesters political hostage for trials NEXT YEAR.

Leading up to the September 11 protest event, I believe the MSM and other domestic enemies of the state will fan footage, like that of Biden checking his watch, to set up a rationale for the false flag they are planning. This will be like Hillary et. al. blaming murderous public aggression in Benghazi on ‘cartoons’. When a rationale is needed, one will be created.

Biden doesn’t have to look at his watch because his handlers lead him everywhere; I think they kept telling him to look at it through an earpiece. It’s optics. Later when they unroll their false flag event, they will pose it as MAGA/Mil disproportionate response to Biden’s fears of being late to critical national security meetings or some such stupid excuse.

I think the MSM will keep portraying events in which Biden gleefully handed Americans to our enemies, along with military hardware and a military base, as unavoidable and therefore ‘misunderstood’ by conservatives.

But the ‘digs’ at MAGA and MILITARY will continue because whatever they have planned for Sept 11 protests, they will have video and photo ‘fodder’ to falsely portray MAGA as dazed and confused, responding disproportionately to the Deep State/MSM version of ‘reality’ in Afghanistan which the MSM et. al blame on Trump.

I wonder what they have in mind to frame Christians? Some additional action or do they feel they have enough in their file archves? Denial of religious exemption or other. Whatever it is, they are writing it now, composing footage of enraged Gold Star families, true military and MAGA.
