JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — Colorado State Patrol said two people died in a head-on collision Thursday afternoon on U.S. 285.
Police said an adult and child died in the crash.

I was hit head on on 285 near Santa Maria by some Denver skier dude who didn’t know how to drive on the icy road. The hand of the Lord kept me out of the river and I walked away from a totaled F-150 (like the one in the photos). The truck saved my bacon but I obviously wasn’t hit as hard as this poor woman was.
I don’t think that was Mr. K talking in the article, but perhaps it was. 🙂
I think it probably was that red truck. Not sure how many red pickup trucks had passed by him driving too fast and recklessly, within a rather short period of time. So, odds are, he is correct. Just my take though, as I have no idea if he is or isn't correct. 🙂
