I’ll take a pass on both.
I have heard of Headaches before, not really sure what they are, the only time my head ever hurts is when I bump it on something
to take one’s mind off the pain of the migraines, just rub salt in one’s eyes- you will soon forget about the migraine,
Who’d-a thunk it?
Me, I’m a MINO (migraine in name only). Never had one and don’t mean to make light of it. It’s a play on “it goes against my grain” — and there’s been too much of that in the 23 years I’ve had that handle.
About all my life I have had mild to severe headaches. Sometimes I think some are mild seizures so I should be diabetes proof if that’s the case.
Given the sheer amount of junk food and sodas I used to go through at a few times in my life, I should have been diabetic.
Even through the cleaner and healthier diet paths and weight loss that come with it, some days I could barely see straight until the pain cleared.
I’ve made some progress here and there on some triggers and treatments but never a true hammer type blow.
This is what passes for science these days. Idiots can’t tell correlation from causation.
My migraines do nothing to help my diabetes.
Is this what passes for “science” these days?
Just my story, but I had migraine headaches for mostly my 20-50’s, decreasing quite a bit after menopause. One thing I noticed was that a full day following a migraine of intense pain and much vomiting, I felt really great, hard to describe. Energetic, clearheaded, just really good. It was like a purge of toxins or something.
Anyone else?
Well, I suppose if you are in the middle of a whopping big headache, you might not want to eat. Did I guess correctly?
I don’t have diabeetus (H.T. Wilford Brimley) but I use to get horrible migraines. Two drags on a THC marijuana vape pen stops them in minutes for me. I’ll take my chances.
.....The link between the two diseases isn't obvious: "Migraines happen in the brain, while diabetes is associated with the pancreas, and these organs are far from each other," says Thanh Do, Ph.D., the project's principal investigator.
Type 2 diabetes is not associated with the pancreas. Duh
Yeah, your head hurts so bad you can’t finish off that gallon of chocolate ice cream.
And I have type 2 diabetes.
