There’s a cancer growing on the presidency. The president displays symptoms of delusion and even dementia, but it is unlikely that the he will resign from office. The president is so addled that even if his family were to stage an intervention, he would still cling to power. You see, the president knows things that the rest of us don’t. The president knows that handing over an entire nation to terrorists and arming them with sophisticated weaponry was unavoidable; it had to happen. So, how do we irradiate, medicate, surgically excise, or otherwise treat our little cancer problem licking obscene quantities of ice cream?
If the president won’t resign, then Congress should impeach and remove him from office. Impeachment, however, starts in the House of Representatives, and that body is led by Nancy Pelosi, who just oversaw two failed impeachments of the dread Orange Man, Donald Trump, the ultimate outsider. Given that, how likely is it that Pelosi would go after the ultimate insider, and a member of her own party? Besides, Nancy is more fixated on enacting more trillion-dollar spending bills than on rescuing thousands of Americans stranded in Afghanistan.
If Speaker Pelosi won’t initiate impeachment, then House members could replace her with someone who would. But how likely is such a coup? Such a revolt would require not only Republicans but Democrats as well. How many House Democrats have the backbone to go after the Wicked Witch of the West?

At least President Harris would provide a plausible fiction upon which relationships might begin to be repaired or at least a fiction upon which our allies can pretend to be with us.
Such a pretense is not to be disparaged, world leaders need rationalizations for their people and even cynical alliances are often binding in times of emergency because the pretense has been sold.
There are certain countries, Taiwan obviously among them, who are utterly dependent on American support for their security. Even though the leader of Taiwan has stated that Taiwan must now look to its own security, Taiwan has no chance of defending itself without America and Taiwan knows it.
There is an obvious example of a place to stitch back together a system of alliances to force China to have second thoughts.

sadly, I do not see his leaving office through any of these measures.... yes, he may resign at some point, but unless and until he is forced to, this PoS of a President will stay on office for far longer than he should have.....
If the Republicucks (and I call them that because they sit by and watch our country getting f**ked) don’t call for resignation and or impeachment soon then they gotta go before these frickin commies do.
The premise of the article is ridiculous and the conclusions reached are nonsense. The author seems to suggest that now it is time to remove Biden because of his mental infirmities. These infirmities did not occur since his swearing in on January 20. Those who kept Biden in the basement during most of the campaign, those who call “lids” on Biden’s public interactions, and those who instruct Biden to read the teleprompter and answer no questions have always known Biden was incapable of being the President. They didn’t care and still don’t care. Their only goal was to place a puppet in office and that has succeeded so nothing needs to or will be done.
