The Biden administration and Biden himself have been repeatedly using a curious phrase.
Over the past few days, the Biden administration, and Biden himself, have said repeatedly that they will evacuate all Americans who "want to come home." The latest was Jen Psaki, who said it again today. The repetition indicates that this phraseology was not happenstance, but had some thought behind it.
My question is, who are the people who don't want to come home? Are there really Americans who want to remain in Afghanistan under Taliban rule? Whom is the Biden administration referring to, or thinking of?
The Taliban have said that the August 31 deadline for the evacuation is also a "red line," after which there will be "consequences." Sounds ominous. You'd think anyone who doesn't want to "come home" will be motivated to after hearing that. Yet Psaki repeated the phrase after the Taliban statement about the "red line."
I guess it depends on how you define the phrase "want to come home." How do you know if there are people who don't want to "come home"? Are they defined as people who don't show up at the airport by August 31? Are they the people who got the message from the State Department saying the United States government cannot assure the safety of Americans while they travel through Taliban checkpoints to the airport? Or maybe they're the people who tried to get to the airport and were beaten by the Taliban, then made it to the airport only to wait for nine hours in sweltering heat while they soiled themselves because of no bathroom facilities and still couldn't get into the airport because of the chaos and were then told by the State Department to leave the area because of "security concerns."

I see Iran Hostage situation 2.0 happening right before our eyes.
They are laying the groundwork for blaming the Americans they left stranded.
I see Benghazi.
Wanna bet some of those left behind were sent there by Deep State to die...
I also took note of that phrase when I very first heard it. Except when they actually screw up, not a breath is uttered by these traitors that is not carefully measured with intent.
They say they don’t know how many Americans are in Afghanistan, they obviously don’t know who they are, therefore they won’t know if they got them all.
That’s why they are saying some (most) want to stay.
Why would anybody want to come back to a racist country like America? /s
This adminstratuon, unlike Carter, is acting almost as if they do not even care. They will probably pretend there are no Americans left there and claim anyone saying otherwise are “conspiratorial kooks” “rightwing nutjobs”, etc. and the media will cover for them. You watch. It is really terrifying. We are on our own even inside our own nation.
Exactly, all those thousands of Americans have found a utopia in Afghanistan, they have decided to stay, according to our overlords.
Unfortunately, I have been using the term “evil “ a lot here recently, it certainly applies here.
They will say they refused to get the COVID vaccine and don’t deserve to be rescued.
Exactly!..lol
I remember the Iranian Hostage crisis under Carter- they let them go LITERALLY seconds after Reagan was sworn in.
I like to think he made it known that his first official act would be to turn all their military bases into big smoking holes in the ground.
There could be a lot of idiotic sympathizers that want to stay. Does anyone know where Bergdahl is?
“Antiracists”, because there’s no racism in Afghanistan?
They are establishing in advance an excuse for those who are left behind. When the media discovers there are truly abandoned Americans, Biden and co. will say “they didn’t want to come home.”
There are probably a few that want to stay with good intentions...like helping people get out...but mostly americans want out of there
Maybe missionaries or aid workers who are under the radar and live in communities who cover for them.
This is an article from Christianity Today. It’s a pay to view site, but a quote from the article clarifies why some would stay behind:
“With the Taliban now firmly in control, it’s easy to forget that the church was at work there long before America’s “forever war” began—and will remain at work there, now that the war has ended.”
Who are the Americans who don’t ‘want to come home’ from Afghanistan?

Obviously all those that the politically-driven Biden admin refuses to allow troops to locate and evacuate; it will be their fault if they don’t get out now and end up being beheaded in orange jump suits (like they were in Iraq under 0bama). After all, the people running the Admin’s show are the same people who ran the Iraqi scram.
