Everything "in his power" does not include blackmailing school districts with withdrawal of funding for reasons not specified in the law.
This is, without question, the most openly lawless US regime I've experienced in my lifetime.

Once again, the federal government unconstitutionally trying to override state law ALWAYS with disastrous effects (ex. federal override of state anti-abortions laws leading to bloody mass infanticide of 50-somw years of abortions).

Sec. of Ed is NOT an authority on the subject!
A court will decide, and that still won't stop the States from withholding State funding.

Apparently governors can just rule by dictat without bothering to pass laws through the legislature now. So the governor can just wave his sceptre and shut the school down by fiat.

There is no constitutional authority for the feds to have any say at all in education.

... Miguel Cardona says his department is working with local governments and school superintendents to help them break state laws banning mask mandates. This crap is aimed at DeSantis... Let's see some studies on lung damage in young masked children... eye infections, sinus conditions etc...

States should issue arrest warrants for conspiracy to violate state laws against the Sec. of Education.

"The long march through the institutions (der lange Marsch durch die Institutionen) " is a strategy coined by Communist student activist Rudi Dutschke around 1967 in support of the Italian Gramsci's warming that you must destroy a culture before a Communist take over. The school boards are first level and most important to be infiltrate.
