Video shows teens wanted in brutal attack of Philadelphia deliveryman; 1 arrest made

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have released video of a group of teenagers wanted in the brutal assault of a deliveryman last week in the city's Queen Village section.

It happened on August 17 around 10:18 p.m. when police say 38-year-old Zach Lean was attacked by a group of teens on bikes on the 300 block of Christian Street.

They released video; one accused turned himself in.

The feral assailants in this recent, brazen attack on a 79-year-old South Philly woman were tried separately. The woman, a working class grandmom who takes care of a disabled grandchild every day, had to take off from her caregiver duties, make her way to the courthouse in Center City, park in a scary building that other ferals hang around in, and walk up through the metal detectors (and hallways full of perps waiting for their hearings) to get to the first hearing to give testimony.

The girl who beat the grandmother and stole her car, which was never returned (during the timeframe when she was undergoing treatment for cancer, causing her to have a mild heart attack), got off with a two-month sentence. She was so disgusted she didn't sacrifice another day of work and inconvenience her family members to go to the second one's hearing.
