Some progressives are cheering on an Alabama doctor who said going forward he will refuse to treat patients who aren’t vaccinated against COVID-19.
Dr. Jason Valentine, a physician at Mobile’s Diagnostic and Medical Clinic Infirmary Health, recently shared he will no longer see patients who aren’t vaccinated against the coronavirus beginning Oct. 1. Valentine said people have no excuse not to be vaccinated against the virus and he doesn’t want to watch people die from it, AL.com reported Tuesday.
“If they asked why, I told them COVID is a miserable way to die and I can’t watch them die like that,” Valentine said. He added that three of his unvaccinated patients had responded to the move by asking him where they could go to get vaccinated: “No conspiracy theories, no excuses. Just where do they go.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“We do not yet have any great treatments for severe disease, but we do have great prevention with vaccines. Unfortunately, many have declined to take the vaccine, and some end up severely ill or dead,” reads a letter Valentine posted online and will soon send out to his patients. “I cannot and will not force anyone to take the vaccine, but I also cannot continue to watch my patients suffer and die from an eminently preventable disease.”
First question....Is that even allowed? Can he deny treating someone that comes into the hospital?
Second, has the dear doctor been briefed on other treatments other than putting folks on a ventilator?
For anyone out there, what happens to a person that shows up at the ER, tests positive for COVID and ends up in the hospital? What kind of treatment protocol is administered on them? Do they just sit around and staff waits to see if they get better or worse? And if they get worse, do they just get put on a ventilator until they die?
We hear all about how Joe Blow was on a ventilator and his dying wish was that he wished he got the shot, but we never hear about what they were doing to save the guy.
A friend of my nephew, everyone in her family had it. Their doctor told them to go home, take Tylenol and drink pedialyte. Call back if anyone starts feeling worse.
WTF!!!!!
Has the good doctor not read any other research or literature that is easily available, about ways to treat people. Seems to me like this thing is being tantamount to mass Manslaughter on a global scale.
He doesn’t want people to die from it, but won’t help to keep them alive. What happened to the Hippocratic Oath?
Doctors have a professional duty to treat the sick and do no harm.
Will these doctor not treat the obese? The alcoholic? The promiscuous? Where does it end?
Fortunately, not all physicians are so inclined.
" “Doctors who refuse to treat and abandon their unvaccinated patients have lost their professional and ethical bearings,” tweeted Dr. Aaron Kheriaty. “The logic employed here would never be applied elsewhere in medicine.”"
That’s bordering on negligence right there. And if you’re intentionally negligent and someone dies as a result of that negligence, in Georgia, that’s Voluntary Manslaughter. And laws are pretty much the same everywhere.
We are now fully living in the Twilight Zone.
He is a liar and a target for a honking big medical malpractice suit.
Those unvaccinated people are probably grateful, because now, they won’t have to worry about contracting Covid from him, and all his vaccinated patients.
Exactly. This doctor refuses to treat patients whose ailments could, in his sole opinion, have been prevented. If he's consistent in his logic, he'd refuse to treat anyone in need of a doctor.
That doctor needs to put on a helicopter and flown around until the pilot finds a pack of wolves or a hungry grizzly bear. And then tossed out, right in front of them. Lets see how long she lasts.
What an absolute sh*tbag of a human being.
But don’t bake a cake for a couple of fags, and you are ruined.
Exactly. And for that reason I wonder if this supposed doctor even exists.
Are we to believe a licensed doctor would refuse to treat a child because parents did not have the child vaccinated?
This supposed doctor doesn't make good sense. Maybe the doctor is liberal.
the medical community is a cult
Drop me off at Dr. Kildare.
The radio version.
He’s probably looking to hook up with some of those hot babe pharma sales reps.
Pull his medical license. He can drive an ambulance.
Our de facto NHS decides what you get and when you get it.
Clap for carers!
It’s not a cult.
