Contact the county with a request for a copy of the case file. They might want copying fees. Maybe the Judge left something in the those file regarding subsequent disposition absent any further bad behavior.

I do not know if you can get a prosecutor to get it expunged (Show them the marriage certificate) or if you have to hire an attorney. Maybe someone would do it pro bono.

Not a lawyer but you might as well try to address it sooner than later. You have tried to do the right thing ask them to do the right thing to assist you so you can work. Wish you the best!
