Here you can monitor military and civilian flights in and out of Kabul, and in the surrounding region.
Today the only flights I've seen are a Pakistan Air 777 from Islamabad and a Turkish military A400 which just landed.

I was watching that. Usually when they touch down the aircraft disappears from the map, but you could watch TUAF901 taxi to the gates and it’s still there.

Did the pakinstein flight bring in an assortment of nukes ?

Lots and lots of planes turn off their regular transponders about the time they hit the Afghan border, civilian too.
Was amused to see a KC-10 tanker with call sign prefix ‘Mongo’ - seemed fitting.

Seems like the USAF put a lid on for today.

I’m not sure about this but I think it depends on whether they turn off their sat transponder.

“Seems like the USAF put a lid on for today.”
My friend who piloted C-17s in and out of Afghanistan said it is typical for Air Force planes to shut off their transponders so they can’t be tracked by the Taliban.

Might want to Bug out so fast they’re leaving it on.
To: edwinland
Wonder how many Stinger missiles the Taliban captured?

Lot of flights coming into and out of the nearest three airports too. You can bet those are not tourist flights... Looks like they are getting folks to all the nearest airports also.

Been having a great time with the ap.
Only thing local that doesn’t seem to show up is police helicopters flying over my house. I assume that’s what they are. Military and blackhawks show up fine. Police probanly block their signal from public view?

Just a muse - why would the Afghans have any Stingers/MANPADS?
The Taliban wasn't using air strikes. Stingers would only have been used against friendlies, so... is there any credible evidence that the are stray FUNCTIONAL Stingers out there?
