Arthur may be a dream today, but he was very real 900 years ago or so.
Their Christainisty has been suppressed by the Roman Catholic Church, along with their history. They were Holy Grail Christians.
I encourage you to read these books. They are well researched and footnoted as well. Real academic works.

My prof used this book in my Art History class. I'm very surprised to see it seems to still be in print. Look at the beautiful images in this book and you won't think of this time as "Dark" again.
