Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) indicated in an interview released on Monday that the two Republicans she rejected to serve on the select committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection could be scrutinized as part of its work.
During an interview with The 19th News, Pelosi said that she vetoed Republican Reps. Jim Banks (Ind.) and Jim Jordan (Ohio) from serving on the committee because she thought they were "outrageous" and "not serious."
"I mean, they probably - " Pelosi began, adding, "Well, we'll see what the committee finds out about them, but they weren't going to be on the committee."
"There would be antics and clowns and not serious about this and still participants in the big lie," Pelosi said, referring to former President Trump's false claims that the election was stolen from him. "I didn't really care if they had voted to accept the results of the election or not. All I wanted them to be is willing to seek the truth."
Banks and Jordan are two of Trump's most vocal supporters in Congress and have echoed the former president's false claims of election fraud. Banks also recently organized a delegation of House Republicans to the U.S.-Mexico border with Trump.
Banks on Monday accused Pelosi of using the select committee to target her political opponents by suggesting he and Jordan could be investigated.
"That is an abuse of power and if she follows through she needs to be held accountable. It is banana republic style politics that doesn't belong in America. If Democrats had integrity, they would condemn this behavior at home with the same enthusiasm with which they condemn it abroad," Banks said in a statement.

I don’t want to be “united” with a state that would send Nancy Pelosi as a representative. People who would vote for her have nothing in common with me, and they don’t like me any more than I like them. Split it up, and then nature will take its course.
How Pelosi became so wealthy should be investigated.

Well, I hope her name is NOT forgotten, at least until she, her husband, family, business associates and fellow Deep State members are all exposed. Corruption, graft, abuse of power, nepotism, murder and extorsion. I want it all to come out, and then I want the ill gotten gains of theirs, their families and friends seized after they are all thrown in jail.
Pelosi is just trying to divert attention from her own crimes. Including democrats sending in their own terrorists (BLM and Antifa) to instigate the Jan 6 ‘riot and violence’.
Democrats are going to lose the senate and the house.
Perhaps then republicans can investigate Pelosi’s many crimes, especially her abuse of power. Let’s not forget about Schiff and Nadler and Biden (and son) and Schumer. All are the real criminals.

It might just be me, but this kangaroo committee doesn’t seem to be getting any coverage or mileage from the msm. I hear nothing about it except what i read here. I think Pelosi is singing to an empty room, that basically nobody much cares anymore except her true believers.

I really like Jordan. However, against DeSantis and Pompeo, Jordan would be my 3rd choice for president.
